Conference Meeting

"WHO HAS A DATE? HADLEY BURROR DOES. WHO HAS A DATE WITH A SEXY GUY? HADLEY BURROW DOES."

Sage busts into my room, chanting her mantra. I was perfectly fine with her mantra until she bounced on my bed with such force that I flew off and hit the fucking floor.

"What the fuck."

I groan. I think I say that too much. I might stop saying it if the fucking universe stops putting me in "what-the-fuck" situations. I think we can all relate.

"You have a hot date with a sexy, charming man."

She sing-songs.

"You forgot the billionaire there."

Instantly, there is peace and quiet.

Did this bitch die? Good for me. Now I can finally get some sleep-

"WHAT?"

She shouts. Yeah, I spoke too soon.

I curl up on the floor in a fetus position and pull my blanket down from my bed to warm me. I'm perfectly comfortable until the thought of the scary bitch from the movie "Ring" enters into my mind and suddenly, I am crawling up onto my bed.

"You said it wrong. It's 'you have a hot date with a sexy, charming billionaire.'"

Sage rips the blanket off of my body and smacks my ass causing me to turn around and scowl at her.

"BILLIONAIRE?"

Why is this bitch shouting for?

"Yes billionaire. He's the founder and CEO, I'm guessing of Rexroth & Associates."

I announce while rubbing the sleep from my eyes.

"That's spectacular Hadley."

I just nod at her before jumping out of bed and dragging myself to get in the shower. I pick my toothbrush up as I start to brush my teeth in the shower.

Don't judge me bitch. I'm multitasking.

Sage being the bitch with no shame strides into the bathroom while I'm brushing my teeth.

"Seriously? Brushing your teeth in the shower?"

I give her a disgusted look with toothpaste sliding down my chin.

"Mind your business bitch. Damn so judgemental."

I mumble the last part underneath my breath as I flip her off as well.

She just rolls her eyes at me and continues to gush over Aidan.

"I can't wait to see him."

Sage dreams about him causing me to chuckle.

"Did you forget that you have a wonderful boyfriend ma'am?"

I chuckle lightly.

"Oh please. As if I could ever leave Julian."

Julian is also a part of the mafia. He was meant to guard Sage but they ended up falling helplessly for each other.

"I think you'll really like Aidan."

"I'm sure we all will except for some people."

I was now in the middle of scrubbing shampoo in my hair. I instantly halt and scrunch my eyebrows.

"Who? My dad?"

I asked, confused as to who the fuck she was talking about now. She instantly starts to laugh.
