Chapter 2

Cassie finally made it to Ruby's daycare.

Cassie saw the receptionist and gave Ruby's name.

The receptionist let Cassie in.

Moooogahiivvfrd. mubbled Ruby.

Are you trying to say mommy?? Asked Cassie. Moving the falling brunette blonde hair out of her face.

Ruby looks more like Diesal and has his green emerald eyes while Diane is a exact replica of Cassie with blonde hair and sky blue eyes.

Ruby doesn't have teeth yet but Cassie feels she will be teething soon since breastfeeding is starting to get difficult with Ruby biting her nipples.

Cassie then heard foot steps behind her.

Cassie??? called a familiar voice.

Cassie turned around saw one of her friends from high school.

Cissie??? called Cassie.

Hi??? Oh my God???? it's been years??? Squealed Cissie.

Yeah. Said Cassie giving Cissie a side hug.

Cissie acknowledged Ruby as Ruby squealed and shakes her rattle.

And who's this??? Asked Cissie.

This is Ruby. Said Cassie.

Hi Ruby?? Will you be joining Little Rainbows daycare?? Asked Cissie.

Ruby giggles.

It's her first day. Said Cassie.

Oh my God.. I still can't believe you're back. I missed you so much. Said Cissie.

Cassie smiled.

Me too. Said Cassie.

I'm sure the others would love to see you again we can have lunch. Said Cissie.

Are Traci and Brenda still here??? Asked Cassie.

Yeah...it turns out they both married Jamie and Paco and just kinda stayed. Said Cissie.

Let me guess you and....???asked. Cassie already knowing that she's married to Bart.

Bart.... Yes... I am. Said Cissie smiling.

Cassie smiled.

I always knew you to would get married. Said Cassie.

Well we.. Did. Said Cissie.

We have 3 children one is 15 and she's already in high school and the other two are in middle school. Said Cissie.

Oh you started early just like me. Said Cassie.

Really!?? Asked Cissie.

Yeah I have a teenage daughter to. Said Cassie.

Oh... I thought you just had Ruby. Said Cissie.

Well I got busy again. Said Cassie mentioning to Ruby.

Cissie smiled.

We should definitely meet again with the other girls. Said Cissie.

Yeah like maybe go out for lunch or something??? Asked Cassie.

Yes... Yes that's a great idea. Said Cissie.

Okay then it's settled. Said Cassie.

Here. Said Cassie giving Cissie her number.

Thanks. Said Cissie.

Okay Ruby....have a great first day and mommy loves you. Said Cassie kissing Ruby's cheeks. As she then gave Ruby to Cissie.

Bye. Said Cassie.

Everything is in her bag and please call if there's a problem or emergency. Said Cassie.

I will. Said Cissie.

Cassie smiled.

And went back to the car.

Finally mom?? Groaned Diane.

What took you so long??? Asked Diane she's checking her hair in the mirror.

I just ran into one of my high school friends. Said Cassie as she buckled herself and started the cars engine.

Mom I don't think I can do this. Said Diane looking at the big school doors and all the students still walking into the school gates, some on bicycles and skateboards and some randomly chatting to each other.

Cassie chuckled at her daughters nervous state.

I don't think I can do this. Said Diane

Yes you can... Or do you want me to go with you??? Asked Cassie smirking.

Diane's eyes widened in terror.

No... No... You don't have to do that..I'll.. Just.... Get out. Said Diane as she unbuckled and climbed out of he car.

She looked at her mom and gave a nervous smile.

What are the chances of me no making friends?? Asked Diane looking at her mom.

Cassie rolled her eyes.

0.... Now stop stalling or else I'll go on with you. Said Cassie her lips pursed.

Diane shook her head in horror there are times when her mom can be really embarrassing.

No.. No... Mom... I'll go... I'll go. Said Diane.

I love you and have a good day. Said Cassie as she blew a kiss to Diane.
