Dinner at Tim's house was a complete success . Cassie still thought about Jack's mom and all those threatening letters she received from her.

She still couldn't bring herself to tell Tim the truth why she broke up with him, she knows he'll ask for the truth some time.

Ruby crawled at her feet.

Mama??? she called putting her hands up wanting to be picked up.

Cassie smiled at her babygirl.

Okay sweetie. She said as she picked her up.

Her client got release out of prison today since she was falsely accused.

Cassie couldn't be more happy she loves her job because she's good at it she has her ups and downs but she never gave up.

Being a lawyer is hard and takes up a lot of time but Cassie makes her time worth it.

She's at home making dinner her mom Diana is visiting for the weekend since she cannot get enough of Diane and Ruby seeing her granddaughters again.

Just then the door bell rang. She heard her mother's hills from a far and giggling her mom's giggles and Diane's.

Cassie's mom had her a young age married to a man to a very wealthy business man. Cassie's Father Victor Sandsmark very strict man and a powerful man.

Diana met Victor when she was still in high school meanwhile Victor was a young man in his mid 20s . Diana and Victor met at a dinner party that Diana's parents hosted.

She had been head over hills ever since then.

It smells so lovely in here. Said Cassie's mom as she walked in with Diane.

Cassie looked at her mom.

HI mom. She said smiling.

Hi sweety....I missed you so much. Said Diana kissing Cassie's forehead.

Dad??? Asked Cassie.

He's at a meeting honey but he plans on visiting tomorrow. Diana said.

Cassie nodded. Her father has always been a busy man.

Mama!!! Mama!!! yelled Ruby for attention.

Diana giggled.

Oh...look who's talking know. Said Diana as she missed Ruby's cheeks.

Yeah she's been saying Mama a lot these days. Cassie smiled happily at Ruby who's playing with her hands.

Diana smiled.

Diane was on her phone grinning at her phone.

She's been talking to Phillip and told him she'll see him on Friday.

All Diane needs to do is tell her mom she's staying over at a friend's so that Phillip can take her to his lake house.

She is beyong excited to go. Phillips charming smile never leaving her thoughts.

And the fact that he's so 14 years older than her scares her. What if somebody found out??.

Diane shudder at the thought.

She felt a eyes on her. Diane looked up and saw her mom and grandma smirking at her.

Uhhh.... I... What are you guys staring at???? She asked.

Diana snorted.

That big smile on your face sunshine. Said Diana walking over towards Diane.

Diane switched her phone off. Her heart beating out of her chest.
