Fear steals away peacefulness
but what if Fear itself just wanted peace?
What if Fear just wanted silence?
A break from the screaming monsters in which Fear is made?
What if all Fear was looking for,
was a little peace? A little silence? A little tranquility?
A sense of comfort? A welling of warmth?
Possibly, even simply a feeling that everything would be alright? What if Fear didn't want what it had...
didn't like what it was...
couldn't accept that it was important? What if all Fear wanted, was to not be afraid of the darkness it was trapped, hiding in?
What if all Fear wanted, was to not be feared?
Or to not be afraid? What a notion, to be afraid of oneself. One may scoff at the idea, then turn away from the mirror.
What if Fear, just wanted a hand that didn't deny its existence?
You don't have to deny it. You don't have to live with it. But what if Fear,
only wanted an embrace to take it all away? With a smile from rested ease, Fear would sigh and start to slowly disappear.
Fear wouldn't be gone forever, But of course,
who could be saddened or afraid, when one does not exist?~🖤
