"have a good night cutie!" oikawa shouted as a smug grin appeared on his face, beginning to walk down the steps of your porch.
he was honestly..kind of happy, you were starting to get more comfortable with him.
he just wanted to make up for the years he'd missed out on..all those six birthdays rin had without a father, all those tears you must've shed in the past years, everything.
he truly was sorry, and he was still proving himself to you. he wanted you to know that he'd never leave again, that..he wants to continue supporting you, mentally and physically.

after a week or so had passed, oikawa was back at the front door of your house.
he was in a dark blue colored turtle neck, under an all black sweatshirt that had small white letterings in the front. darkish blue jeans to go along with everything.
