slowly walking through the entrance of the festival, you could hear the loud yells of the children.
the crowd was large, many people walked past. so you held onto rins hand tightly, hoping you wouldn't loose the brown haired child in the crowd
your eyes scanned the colorful stands filled with different games, and activities. wondering where to go first before oikawa had spoken up
"ooh they have a haunted house" he muttered, not particularly towards anyone. he was probably talking to himself.
his hand placed on the back of his neck, as he stared towards what looked like an abandoned hospital themed tent. his eyes clearly saying the words his mouth didn't, "i wanna go in."
the same expression painted across rins face as he excitedly hopped up and down. this really was oikawa's kid huh? clearly the child didn't look scared in the slightest
rin was too filled with excitement that he disregarded the fact that it was a haunted house. the child had tried to comprehend everything, all the fun games he'd get to play, the prizes he'd hoped to win. it was all too mesmerizing.
pulling you toward the scary looking tent, you let out a soundless gasp. the sudden tug caught you off guard.
you were absolutely terrified.
but we're you gonna show it? i'll answer that for you, fuck no.
"you're not easily scared are you y/n?" oikawa cooed, his lips slowly rising upwards as a smirk began forming on the setters face. clearly teasing you. "oh there's nothing to be scared of, you can hold onto me if a big scary ghost pops out" the taller male chuckled, trailing behind you as rin dragged you towards it
that bastard has the nerve to say that? as if you would ever do something like that.
this looks kinda scarier as you approached the surprisingly short line, who knew it could look even more scary up close.
oikawa perked up behind you, bending down a bit as his face was closer towards your ear. the stupid confident grin never leaving his face. he knew what he was doing, and found it amusing to watch your reaction.
"boo" he said nonchalantly, causing you to flinch as you swiftly tilted your head to the side. glaring up at the setter. he was pissing you off. and clearly oikawa was also enjoying every moment of it
"for someone with such will power you look absolutely terrified y/n chan!"
"go to hell."

you slowly approached the front of the line, quicker than you'd expected. as oikawa greeted the person at the front, slowly making his way in first when the operator had given the cue.
your eyes widened a bit, as you assumed he would just stick by your side like he had the entire time.
oikawa was kinda like an annoying bug you couldn't get rid of.
rin running away from your tight latch onto him. toward oikawa, leaving you behind to catch up.
letting out a shaky sigh, you ran toward the pair. not wanting to be left behind.
staying in front when going into something like this is absolutely frightening, but the back was also scary. the middle is clearly the right spot. but you couldn't choose which spot you stayed in
eventually catching up to the two, you latched back onto the child who was standing beside oikawa. finding any excuse to had ran like that. "rin! what if fall or get lost huh?" you scolded the child.
"it's a haunted house y'know y/n chan, you just walk straight. rin couldn't possibly get lost" oikawa teased, tipping his head toward you before looking straight ahead. he knew you'd eventually get scared and hook onto his arm.
not even after scolding rin, you spot a black figure slowly approaching from the side. not giving you enough time to back away before it jumped out, scaring you and rin to death.
though it's pretty obvious you had screamed louder than rin had. already clinging onto oikawa for dear life. earning oikawa's hysterical laughs, even to the point where he had tears in his eyes.

finally this thing was over, there were about 5 more jump scared after that one. though, unlike rin you didn't stop screaming after 2 or 3 of them. you jumped, jolted, and yelled every. single. time.
even rin thought it was funny.
oikawa used his free hand to wipe the tears from his eyes, continuing to mock you. making comments about how hilarious the whole entire thing was.
the setter handed the child his phone, mouthing "take a picture please" as you still held onto oikawa, not realizing it until oikawa had his arms wrapped around you tightly. playfully laughing and pulling you closer the more you resisted.
you attempted to push him away, but rin had already taken the photo.
giving the phone back to oikawa, when he had finally let go. you on the other hand, was very annoyed with the chocolate haired man in front of you. leaving punches on his arm, as if you were throwing a fit.
