Bella POV

After he left I felt the quiet rush in on me. I decided to go up stairs to my bedroom and do what little homework I had. After I was done, I saw that it was lunch time. I went down stairs and decided on a quick, healthy meal. Roman Noodles. They were almost finished when there was a little knock at the door. Thinking it was Edward, because after they left Alice texted me and told me everything, I ignored it.

"Bella, oh Bella." The voice behind the door said.

I slowly walked over to the front door and looked throught the peep hole. It looke like someone had placed their hand or arm over the opening. Before I could open it I felt a cold, hard hand on my shoulder. I turned to see Alice's bewildered eyes searching mine. I opened my mouth to speak but before I could say anything her hand was over my mouth and she was shaking her head. She pointed toward the living room and I nodded. "Who is that?" I questioned when we got behind the couch in the living room.

"I don't know. I saw them coming and came here." she whispered.

There was another knock. "I'm waiting Bella. Hurry up and answer the door before I get angry."

"Go to the bathroom and lock yourself in there. Then call Edward and tell him to get back here quick." she explained as she wrapped my hands around her Galaxy s5. "Go, please Bella."

I was frozen I couldn't move. What was happening? Who was at the door? Why did i have to lock myself in the bathroom and call Edward? "Go Bella." Alice said pushing me toward the bathroom.

I scrambled to my feet and made it in the bathroom in a couple seconds. Now I have to call Edward. I dailed the number and heard a few rings before his beautiful voice floated into my ear. "What do you want Alice? I really am on my way to Seattle."

"E-Edward?" I spoke with a shakey voice.

"Bella? What are you doing with Alice's phone? Where's Alice? What's going on?" He questioned.

What was going on? I had no idea. Who was at the door and what did they want with me? "Edward, I don't know what's going on. A-all i know is that there was a k-knock at the d-door and the Alice showed up and told me to lock myself in the bathroom and call you."

"Okay, it will take me a few minutes, but I will be there. Just hang on Bella." There was a loud boom from the front of the house. "BELLA! Are you still there? Bella says something!" He screamed into the phone.

"Edward HURRY!" was I could manage.
Edward POV

No one is going to hurt my family and definitely not my mate. I made it to the house in record time, even for a vampire. The loud crash from over the phone must have been the front door being ripped from the hinges and thrown on the floor. I searched for Alice or Bella's scent. Alice's was the freshest one I found. I followed it up the stairs and found Alice unconscious on the floor beside Bella's computer. " Alice, ALICE!" I screamed at her and shook her violently.

" Edward?" she questioned still groggy.

"Where's Bella? Where is she? Did they take her?"

"I told her to lock herself in the bathroom down stairs..." I cut here off by flying down the stairs to the bathroom, where the door was busted down. I could tell that she had been there, but where was she now.

"Bella..." I whispered. I followed her scent down the hallway to the closet right across from the spare bedroom. Before I actually got to the door, I heard soft whimpers. "Bella, darling, honey, love..." I try to open the door, but it's locked."...will you open the door?"

I heard a small click and opened the door. What I saw made me both angered and surprised me. Bella, my fragile little Bella, lying helpless black and blue in a ball in the middle of the closet. Her clothes piled up in the corner. Why did this have to happen? I pulled Bella into my arms the only place she was truely safe.

I met Alice at the front door. "Clean up the house before Charlie gets home. We don't want him to call the police and them coming and taking us away."

"Okay, just send Jasper to help me." Alice said rolling her eyes.

"I will. I would put the door up first." Then took off running with Bella in my arms.
