Forever and Always

Bella POV
The noise from the TV was going in one ear and out the other. Alice was still sitting to the right of Edward and I, stroking my hair. My eyelids were growing heavy from her playing with my hair, and she knows it had always made me sleepy so I know she is doing it on purpose. I was almost asleep when I heard the door to the house open and so did Alice and Edward because Edward's grip grew tighter and Alice was up in a flash. "Calm down. It's okay. It is just us." Carlisle.

"I thought that you all were staying out there and hunting until tomorrow," Edward said loosening his grip on me.

"We were, but we were all worried about you and Bella," he said with a smile in my direction, "and of course our dear Alice." Everyone piled into the house and said their hello's before splitting off to do their own things for the day. It was when Carlisle and Esme sat down opposite of me and Edward the I realized that I only had on his shirt. I gasped and turned to look at Edward. He looked down at me and gave a confused look. I looked down at my bare legs that were curled in his lap and looked back up at him. Realization crossed his face and then he grabbed me and rushed upstairs. When we were finally in his room, he set me down and then told me that he was going to get Alice.

"Bella," I heard through the door after a few minutes. "It's me, Alice. Can I come in?"

"Yeah," I said from where I sat on the bed.

She opened the door and walked in. "Edward said that you needed something."

"Yeah. I need some clothes," I said and with those words her eyes lite up and she looked like a kid on Christmas. She squeaked and pulled me into her and Jasper's room. She threw her closet doors open and pulled out a few outfits. "We have this one," she said holding up an outfit, "or this one. I personally think this one will look amazing on you, but this one is a little warmer, since it is a little cold outside."

I pointed at the one that consisted of a maroon sweater, black skinny jeans, and a pair of Ugg boots.

I quickly got dressed and examined the outfit in the mirror, then walked out to show Alice. "Perfect, almost," she said standing at her vanity holding some makeup brushes.

"Alice you don't need to do my makeup I'm just going to be hanging out around here today," I said trying to convince her to let me go. In the end, however, Alice always gets her way.

"Are you done yet?" I ask as Alice finishes putting on my lipstick.

"Almost. We have do something with this," she says flipping my pony tail to the side. I sigh but just sit back and let her do whatever she wants.

In the middle of curling my hair Alice blacks out and dropps the curling iron right in my lap making me scream. "OUUCCHH!" Edward was by my side in a second checking me over for any injuries besides the burn on my leg.

"Are you okay? What happened?" Edward asks, as I point to Alice, who is still having a vision.

Edward goes quiet, I assume listening to Alice's thoughts. I wait a few more seconds before walking to the bathroom to check my leg. After I'm finished I walk out and notice that Alice is no where to be found, but Edward is standing by the door waiting on me. "What's going on?" I ask him even though I know he's going to tell me not to worry about it.

"Let's go get you since ice for your leg. Does it hurt?" He asks taking my hand and starting to walk down the stairs headed to the kitchen.

I shrug, "a little but I'll be okay. So what is going on?"

He brushes me off again and grabs an ice pack, that they keep just for me, out of the freezer and places it gently on my leg where the burn is. I look into his eyes and ask him one more time.

He looks at me worried for a second before saying, "I'll tell you when Alice gets back."
