Bella POV

"Bella, love, why is the door locked?" Edwards's sweet voice floated in from behind the locked bedroom door. My mind was still a little groggy as I left the warmth and security of the bed to open the door for him. Immediately, he wrapped his arms around me and kissed the top of my head. "Love, why was the door locked? Was someone here?" he asked a little panicked.

"No. I just couldn't find you after I got out of the shower and got a little frightened. I was thinking about what happened yesterday and," he cut me off before I could say anymore.

"You don't have to worry about what happened yesterday anymore. I am not leaving your side until we find who did this to you and Alice," he said. I could tell that just talking about the incident mad him more angry than I had ever seen. I wrapped my arms around his middle and hugged him with all my strength.

"I love you," I mumbled into his chest.

"I love you too," he said and wrapped his arms around me holding me in his lap. He kissed me in the head again, before he sat me on the bed and got up. "So, what do you want to do today?" he asked walking to the closet to pull some out for himself.

"I have no idea. I don't care as long as I'm with you," I said.

"Okay. How about we go downstairs and watch a movie?" he suggested. I nodded and got up and walked to the living room. When I got there, I saw Alice and Jasper outside talking on just the edge of the woods. I ran to the door worried that if I didn't get call her quick enough that she would disappear forever. I swung the door open and yelled, "Alice." She immediately looked up in my direction. I waved her over and she was by my side in seconds. I wrapped my arms around her and tears started streaming down my face. I began mumbling 'thank yous' and 'I'm sorrys' to her. She wrapped her arms around me and shushed me and told me that it was not my fault and that she loved me and I was her sister and she would do anything for me. I was still crying when I felt Edward's presence in the room. I could tell that he had been here for a while, but he was keeping his distance. Alice was rubbing up and down my back, soothingly, when I finally heard Edward talk. It was low and I almost didn't hear it, but I could tell that he was talking to Alice and not to me.

After about 30 minutes, I was just snubbing and was still resting in her embrace. She finally pulled me out to arms length and visual inspected me to make sure there were no major injuries. She quickly pulled me back in and hugged me one more time before she handed me over to Edward, who had been waiting patiently for his turn to comfort me. "It's okay now." he whispered in my ear and held me a little tighter. he walked to the couch and pulled me into his lap. I immediately pulled my head away looking for Alice. I needed her. I'm not for sure why, but I do. I spotted her beside Edward looking at me and stroking my hand. I gave her a small smile and laid my head back on Edward's chest not letting her out of my sight and not letting Edward out of my grasp. He flipped on the television and found a random boring show to watch. Alice was looking at the TV, but not really seeing or hearing what it was saying. Edward on the other hand was lovingly looking at me.
