They screwed up big time.
But before you know why they screwed up, get to know the Minecraft family first.

Phil was at the village when he heard cries from an alleyway. He slung a bag of food over his shoulder and walked to the alleyway. There was nothing down the corridor but a closed box. It seemed to be rumbling so Phil walked over to it.
He pulled open the box and two children were inside. The two boys must've been hybrids, One had longer elf ears and feather peeking out from multiple spots on them, the other one had pink hair, pig ears, and some tusks poking out of his mouth. The one with pink hair and pig features covered the smaller one with his arms.
"I won't hurt you..." Phil said softly to the children. The bigger child out of the two didn't move after the smaller one peeked out from behind his arms.
"A-are y-you m-mean?"
"No I'm friendly, do you two have parents?" The smaller one shook his head. "Do you have a home?"
"N-no."
"Would you like to come to my house and get some food?" The smaller one nodded but the other one stepped in front of him.
"Wil are you sure about this?" He whispered.
"Y-you c-can't k-keep on s-stealing f-food." Phil assumed the smaller ones name was either Wil or William.
"Fine."
They both turned to Phil.
"So would you guys want to come to my home? There's food, water, and a bed for you both." They both nodded. They both grabbed Phil's outstretched hand. He pull them into his arms and hid them in his cloak.
"Try not to make any noise okay?" There was a faint okay from the cloak. Phil has to adopt these kids before people could see him with them. Most people in his village weren't very nice. There were a couple people but not a lot.
"Hey Phil!" A women named Niki Said from her sweet stand.
"Hey Niki!"
"I have some fresh bread, do you want some?"
"I would love some Niki." Phil walked over to her stand and grabbed a loaf of bread. "How much for this one?"
"It's on the house Phil, can you just promise to bring me some potatoes next time you harvest some?"
"Of course I can!" Phil slipped the load of bread into his bag and waved bye to Niki. He walked out of the village out towards his house. Phil lived in a smaller house in a snowy plain.
He moved the cloak aside and looked at the two children. They had wrapped their arms around each other. The smaller one had fallen asleep and the other one was falling asleep slowly.
He smiled and opened a fence gate. He closed it behind him and jogged towards the house to get the kids warm. He pushed open the door.
"Phil?" A female voice rang out from somewhere upstairs.
"Hi honey, can you come down here for a second?" Phil took off his cloak with difficultly revealing large black raven wings.
"What's wrong did something so on at the village?" The women came down from the stairs and looked at the two children in his arms. "Where did you find these two? Are they okay? What happened?" She took one of the kids from Phil and looked at his face.
"I don't know Kristin, I found them in a box and brought them back. This one," He mentioned to the sleeping boy in his arms. "Said that the both of them don't have parents or a home. I figured we could take care of them for a while." Kristin nodded and set the boy she was holding on the couch.
"Okay, first we need to get them clean clothes and bathe them. Can you find some clothes in the attic that'll fit them while I clean them up?" Phil nodded and headed towards the stairs.
"The one with the pink hair is very protective, so just be careful with them both."
"Phil, since when am I not careful."
"Fair point." Phil walked up the stairs and pulled a string attached to the ceiling down. A ladder flew down quickly revealing a large attic above him.
