Somehow between the drive from the hospital and the apartment Conner has magically talked me into going to his friend Natas party tomorrow. Which is absolutely crazy because never in a thousand years would I have ever thought I was going to go to another party. Let alone with Conner. Let alone with anyone ever again.

But I guess you could say I had a soft spot for Conner, which was no doubt going to come back and bite me. For now, however I trusted him. Maybe more than I should.

As soon as Conner texted Nata and told her we where in fact going to her party the following night she was so ecstatic she had called Conner and demanded she talked to me. So Conner had reluctantly handed the phone to me, and insisted he listened to my conversation with her. Now we where sitting on the couch talking to Nata on speaker phone. She had asked me what I was going to wear to the party and I told her I was just planning on wearing jeans, and a more dress up t-shirt.

"Ew, no jeans! You can not where jeans to the official best party of the year." Her voice screeched threw the phone.

I laughed and Conner followed along. Our feet where in top of the coffe table, a gesture my mother would frown upon. His hand rested on my thigh casually, but was far from casual for me it was beyond distracting. But in a good way.

"I could wear something else?" I asked Nata threw the phone.

My comfort zone was jeans and a sweatshirt. Not a dress, or dressing up in anyway. If it where possible I would avoid ever dressing up, I guess I was just self cautious.

"No offense Alex, but do you even own a dress? Like a dress that's going to.. Wait" she stopped. "Am I on speaker?"

I had some sort of idea what she was going to say to me. She didn't know that Conner and I where currently dating. But I'm almost positive she got the idea.

"You are, so not only do you get to listen to Alexis sexy voice you also get to listen to mine."

I gasped and my head snapped to Conner. I was not expecting that at all.
And threw the phone I heard Nata's gasp and she was not at all expecting it either.

Conner smirked at me in my shocked state.

"Alex I need to talk to you!" Nata screamed threw the phone and I cringed she was way to excited.

"If you have something to say you can say it to the both of us." Conner snapped at Nata. Either A, he wants to know what she's going to say to me, or B, which is, A.

Nata didn't answer silently notifying me that she was not going to say what she had to say in front of Conner.

"One second." I told Nata and quickly reached for the phone on the coffee table. If I wanted to do this I had to do it quick. Because Conner was just as quick as me.

Within seconds I had the device in my hand and had sprung up from the couch. Conner understood what I was doing pretty quickly. And he was on his feet in seconds.

"Alex." He warned me trying to sound threatening. We had a mini stare down and I could her Nata talking but I didn't know what she was saying. I was to busy paying attention to Conner.

He was standing on the other side of the coffee table from me and if I moved fast enough I could probably make it to his bedroom in time to lock the door and hear what Nata has to say. But I really am not sure if I'm faster than him.

He took a step around the coffee table and I took a large step back, the whole time we didn't break eye contact.

"Give it to me." He said and held out his hand palm forward, he reached for his phone.
