part 13...

Two weeks later...

These past two weeks have gone past in a blur with Miss Dowling helping me with my powers in her free time to Sam asking me to go to the ball with him while we were on a date watching the sunset from the top of a hill just outside of the barrier. There was also some training involved but Silva's health kept on going down hill and we all knew he didn't have a lot of time left.

When I woke up, it was the day of the ball. I got up and I realised that I had a bit of a sleep in this morning but I decided to still go for a run. By the time I left the suite it was already 7:30 but I decided to make the most of my day off, the sun was out but the breeze was quite cold but I pushed through and I ended up running around the school twice and I only ended my running session at about 8:45. But I made my way back to the dorm, so I could meet up with the girls, so we could all go to breakfast together. I quickly jumped in the shower and I washed my hair extra carefully and I shaved my legs so I can look extra good at the ball. I quickly got out and I got dressed in a pair of shorts and an oversized hoodie with a pair of bulky Air Force ones. I made my way to the lounge where the girls were gossiping about their boyfriends and don't forget Terra, Ellies Girlfriend and about the rest of the school. We all got up and left for the lunch hall, I bumped into Sam along the way and he gave me a huge hug and a very light kiss on my forehead. He joined us on our walk to the hall but once we got there he saw a group of his fairy friends in the corner, so he quickly said goodbye and went to them. The rest of us went to go get food and mine included a cup of strong tea and a bran muffin. The breakfast was filled with laughter and a lot of gossip.

Once we finished up breakfast, we made our way down to the edge of the barrier on the east side of the school once we got there, we all decided to text our boyfriends and Terra to see if they would like to join us. They all answered with a very quick yes and they all arrived in one big group but once I saw Sam my smile grew. The walk was very relaxing and all the couples walked behind each other holding each other's hand. We walked for about an hour before we started making our way back to the school. Sam and I spoke about everything we could possibly think about, once we got back to the school, I decided I was going to curl up in a ball and watch some Netflix before the ball. After about an hour and a half there was a knock at my bedroom door, I jumped out of bed and opened the door very quietly because Spencer was having a nap on her side of the room, when I opened it, I saw Sams smiling face staring back at me and when I looked down I saw he was holding a strawberry milkshake, we pushed his hand away from his body and towards mine and I gratefully took the milkshake with a huge smile on my face. I invited him into the room and I had a huge sip of my milkshake before putting it on my side table next to my bed. I gently got back onto my bed and Sam came and lay next to me and I wrapped my arms around him and he did the same to me.

I fell asleep after a while and I only woke up when Spencer came and tapped me on the shoulder and told me that it was time to get ready for the ball. So I gave Sam a gentle kiss on the forehead and I told him that it was time to get ready. So he quickly got up, gave me a kiss but before he left he grabbed my milkshake and had a huge sip of it and then quickly left the room before I could shout at him. I checked the time and I realised that I only had two hours to get ready. So I jumped up and I ran and quickly hopped in the shower just to rinse off the day. Once I finished showering, I got into a robe and I quickly put my hair in a bun, so I could start doing my make-up. My make-up took about forty minutes to do and then I started doing my hair in a low messy bun with a little bit of hair left to frame my face in. When I finished doing that I realised that I only had about 40 minutes left to get dressed and to take photos.

Once I got my dress on, I left my room and after about 10 minutes all the girls made it into the lounge. I quickly checked the time and I saw that all of our dates should be arriving soon. Once they all arrived and they all spent about 5 minutes commenting on our dresses and how flawless we looked, expect for Ellie and Terra who was wearing matching suits and all of us couldn't stop telling them about how amazing they both looked. We all made our way own to the valley on the edge of the barrier. We got a lot of group photos and a lot of boyfriend and girlfriend photos with a few individual photos. I also got siblings picture with my brothers to send to our mom. But Sky checked the time and realised that we had to be there in 5 minutes. So we all started speed walking all the way back up to the school.
