"The Queen and King of the ball are.."

The tension grew and the drums were getting louder and everyone was smacking their knees which made a drum effect as well. People were also making an oooooh sound which made it that much more dramatic and it felt like I was in a Disney movie the way it was all playing out. Miss Dowling slowly started opening her mouth and everyone stopped making a noise and held their breath.

"The queen is.... Luna Samara and the king is.... Sam Harvey." She said with a very big smile on her face.

There was an explosion of noise and everyone started cheering, the spotlight moved to me and Sam. I quickly grabbed his hand and he didn't swat it away, he grabbed it and gave it a little squeeze. We both walked up to the stage and when we got there miss Dowling gave me a huge hug and she whispered in my ear, "Well Done!". Sam and I both looked out to the audience and the older grade girls put on our crowns and our sashes. I was smiling so much that my cheeks were super sore and after a lot of photos and congratulations we both escaped and went outside get some air. After a while we decided to head back inside. We carried on dancing like we were before, we were on the dance floor for hours and I only left because my feet were aching. I went to sit down and shortly afterwards Sam came up to me and I realised he got me some juice and a piece of cake. 

We sat there for quite a bit of time until I got a message from Silva saying that they killed the burned one that infected him. I jumped off my chair from excitement and I quickly showed Sam what was going on. I started walking out of the ball with Sam hot on my heels. My brothers were standing in the lunch hall waiting for me to join them and I told Sam that I would meet up with him after I go see Silva. Sam made his way back to the ball while my siblings and I made our way to the specialist grounds.

Silva was sitting on one of the fighting stages and I ran up to him but once I got there I could still see the black veins still on his face. I stopped dead and my brothers eventually caught up with me, they also stopped when they saw his face. Sky was the first person to talk, "You said they killed it.."

Silva said in a weak voice, "They did." I could hear the pain in his voice but I chose to not say anything about it.

"Then why are your the wounds not healed?" Zander spoke next but he didn't match Silva's tone, no he used a loud stern voice.

"The one they killed mustn't have been the one that attacked me. Clearly, there are more than of the creatures out there." Silva was saying with a depressed tone.

"So the battalion will keep looking!" I said with tears streaming down my face.

"Guys, its too late." He said trying to hold himself together.

"It can't be over, I can't loose another father figure." I said with anger in my voice, "You told us to wait, but we can't wait any longer. They have had more than enough time." My eyes started started to shimmer with rage but I made sure that I didn't loose control of my powers. Silva gave me a look that said 'I'm sorry' but I couldn't take it any longer, I turned around and started sprinting away. I made my way to the armoury, and I headed straight to my locker and grabbed my specialist uniform. I quickly put it on, and started walking out but as I got out, I walked straight into Sky, I tried to walk away from him but he grabbed my arms and held them tight. He pulled me into a tight hug, I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, he also took a breath and he started to say, "I know you want to go but I just need you to wait for Zander and I, okay?"

"Okay.." I said quietly, it was now dark outside and the corridor lights were on. Sky lead me to a bench and he told me to sit down. I did so and after about fifteen minutes, they came walking out of the boys armoury. I got up with a little bit of a jump and we started walking to the exit which lead to the forest. I could hear the ball still going on down by the ballroom. It too me a minute to realise it but I knew we weren't going to be able to take down a burned one alone. I stopped dead in my tracks and my brothers did so too and I think they also realised the mistake we made. I got out my phone and I phoned my suite mates and the winx girls. They all showed up after about twenty minutes because they had to get out of their outfits before they went to trek in the forest. Sam also tagged along with them and he came and gave me a huge hug. We started walking again and we got to the edge of the forest, we all stopped for a second thinking of what was about to happen but we decided to carry on anyway, we eventually all made our way to stone circle. A noise quickly filled my eyes and the sound was filled with growling. I looked up to see Bloom also looking around and once we made eye contact, we pointed and each other and Bloom was brave enough to say, "Can you hear it too?" Everyone stopped and they looked at us with confusion in their eyes.

"What can you hear.." Ella asked. I looked at her, trying to find a way to explain it and when I looked back at Bloom, she was also trying to find a way to tell them. I quickly shut my eyes trying to find a way to describe it to them without sounding like a weirdo. The sound was getting quieter but I could feel a pulling force towards the east side of stone circle. I started walking and after Bloom saw, she started too, everyone was giving us weird looks but that didn't stop us, as we walked the sound of the burned one got louder and louder. Everyone started following us and we soon got to the barrier, I carried on walking until the sound stopped, I looked around but I saw nothing, Bloom and I were back to back now and we were going in circles. Everyone else arrived and saw what we were doing and they came and joined in with the circling. There was a loud growling sound and I could tell everyone else could hear it, we all looked up and we all saw it in the tree. It lunged forward and every one dispersed except for me who tried to. use my powers to move the tree branches to wrap around it but it didn't hold it for long. It lunged forward but my feet were glued to the spot, it was just about hit me but Zander bear tackled me off to the side so I was out of harms way. Everything happen so quickly that my vision was still blurry from the fall when Stella screamed, "shut your eyes.."

I did as she said and when I opened them the burned one was stumbling around. And Sky took that advantage and stabbed it right through the heart. Sam and Zander helped me up off of the floor and we all started circling the burned one except Musa, who had stopped and screamed, "guys.. I dont think its-"

It jumped up and started swinging its arms every which way because it could not see us, we all tried to fight back but it was getting to violent. We all started backing up trying not to make any noise but out of no where, they insides of it were melting and it fell to the ground, "no, it wasn't dead.." said Dowling in an unamused tone, her eyes were still glowing with a white light.

We all stood there for a while before Miss Dowling told us to get back to school and we should except a mouth full when she gets back. We slowly made our way back and Sam put his hand in mine. We took a detour to the greenhouse to go see Silva, I ran into his arms as I got inside, Sky started to ask him if he was better but Silva kept on saying how irresponsible we are. But Zander took Sky's side and asked Silva the same question until Silva said that he was good. He held me in a tight hug for a while until Sam and Zander wanted a hug. I grabbed Silva hands and Sky grabbed his shoulders and Zander held mine, "I swear, if you doing anything like that again.." I said staring in his eyes. He promised he would never do it again and we shook on it. We all walked up to the school and straight into the lunch room and Silva used his keys to get into the kitchen and make us food as it was already two in the morning and it was closed. He made us all burgers and chips, we sat there for what felt like hours and we weren't doing anything exciting, we were just enjoying each other's company. Laughing a lot about everyone's childhood stories and because Zander kept on making stupid jokes. My favourite part of it was that Silva was here with us and he sat next to me and Sam sat on the other of me and we held hands for nearly the whole time.
