We started speed walking back to the school and I was holding Sams hand so tightly I thought I was going to pull it off. I quickly stopped walking and I pulled my high heels off because the speed walking was making my feet ache. When I stopped, everyone else also stopped with me and most of the girls joined in with me taking off their heels, once they were off Sam was quick to take them out of my hand and into his , I gave him a look which made us both burst out laughing. We carried on walking and as we got closer to the school, we could hear people laughing and talking and we could also hear the music blaring. Once we got to the entrance of the school, I decided to put our heels back on. My boyfriend, Sam grabbed my hands and we started walking slowly again . Once we got there, the welcoming committee took us to the ballroom where the ball was taking place.

Once we got to the top the stair case, they announced, "Please welcome Princess Luna Samara and her date Sam Harvey."

Sam and I both started smiling from ear to ear and we started making our way down the stairs and once we did the whole welcoming committee started cheering and clapping. We both looked around to see smiling faces all around us. We got to the bottom of the stair case and we both burst out laughing. The rest of our friends came down the stairs with the same exact entrance except with their names instead of ours. We all made our way to the outside area which had fairy lights strung across the tress and tables scattered everywhere but along the way we all found our other friends, so Sam went to his fairy friends and I decided to go to my Winx Suite Friends.

Once I got to them they all started complimenting my dress and they kept on saying that I looked amazing but I quickly shut them down with me telling them how beautiful all of them looked in their dresses matching with powers with the colours. Stella's is gold for light, Blooms is red for fire, Musa's is purple for mind and Aisha's is blue for water. They all looked dropped dead gorgeous in them. I looked around for Terra but I realised she was still with Ellie. I started talking to Bloom and we got so deep in conversation that she ended up telling me that she was a changeling and I ended up telling her that I have powers and that I was adopted but that didn't change anything we just carried on talking about our love life but hers was minimal, but we both just laughed it off.

My boyfriend came back after about thirty minutes of talking and he grabbed my hands and pulled me away from the group and he took me outside and made me close my eyes and then he put a little parcel in my hands and when I opened my eyes I saw that it was a brown parcel with blue butterfly's all over it. I quickly opened it, there were three layers of the wrapping but once I got to the centre, I saw a beautiful butterfly necklace inside with a note that read.
NECKLACE:

To my Dearest Luna,
I am so glad that I met you, from the day I laid eyes on you I knew you were perfect and now I have you as my loving girlfriend, how could I ever be this lucky. You mean the world to me and I hope you know that. I gave you this necklace to help you remember that there is hope and not everything will go your way but you will make it through.

I looked up with tears in my eyes but I was still smiling. He came and gave me the biggest hug, "I hope these are happy tears and not tears of disappointment." He said chuckling.

"I promise these are happy tears, how did I ever get so lucky to have you as my boyfriend." I asked him with more tears streaming down my face. He let go of me and he helped me to put my necklace on. It was beautiful, the way it shimmered under the moonlight. I looked up at his face smiling and he gave me one of his signature smiles which made me love him even more. We went back inside and I showed everyone I knew the necklace but I chose to keep the letter a secret for now until I could show it to Spencer. I couldn't stop smiling the whole night and when Sam pulled me onto the dance floor, I couldn't help but be overjoyed and we started doing this weird dance to this upbeat music and we carried on doing this for what felt like forever but after a while the music changed to slow dance music and he grabbed me by the waist and we started slow dancing. I felt like I was on top of the world and nothing could get me down. The music stopped and everyone crowded the dance floor in front of the stage. Principal Dowling walked onto the stage and said they will be announcing the queen and king of the ball. The drums started doing a dramatic sound and the lights dimmed and tension grew. Miss Dowling slowly opened the envelope and said....
