Y/n woke up in a pool of cold sweat.
Yeah. Not so pleasant. But y/n didn't care. She'd slept. She'd finally managed to sleep. Maybe for the first time in a month at least.

She flicked off her blanket in irritation as she rolled over and reached for her phone on the bedside table. She succeeded and pulled the device towards her to check the time.

"9:15" she mumbled to herself. She checked her smart watch that she hadn't taken off in time before she'd fallen asleep.

Yawning, y/n opened the small sleep schedule widget on her watch, and waited as the app opened on her phone. Her technology had detected she'd fallen asleep at 2AM.

'2 FUCKING AM LET'S GOOOOO' she thought.

Y/n had been suffering from chronic insomnia, and hadn't had a good night's sleep for over a month. On the other hand, also being a faceless streamer meant added stress, combined with school, which was starting next week.

She layed back down, head landing with a soft thump back on her pillow as she stretched out into a starfish shape, which ironically reminded her of when she was younger, still in 3rd form, when everyone was forced to take swimming lessons through school and they'd taught you how to float on your back by acting like a starfish- for some unknown reason.

Why did they make you do that? Oh well. Who cares? Y/n had skipped on most of the lessons anyway.

She stretched further, arching her back in an attempt to wake up. Y/n sighed as she felt her shirt stick to her sweaty back.
"Ew". She sat up and somehow managed to drag her tired body to the bathroom, groaning in the process.

The girl warily peeled the wet clothing from her clammy skin, and stripped down completely, stepping into the cold running water.

Your POV
You took a deep breath, feeling the cool liquid running down your skin, soaking your hair.

You took your phone from the counter, taking off the smart case, making sure not to get the sensor chip wet. You closed the shower door again, phone still in hand.

You opened the Bluetooth settings and connected to the bathroom's surround system. The connection completed, and so you tapped out of the settings window and pressed to play one of LEMMiNO's songs 'Voyage'.

You smiled, savoring the rare content feeling while it lasted as you let the sound fill your ears and eventually let your emotions overcome you.

You slid down onto shower floor as tears formed in your eyes. Listening to enjoyable music always popped your bubble, spilt all the feelings and emotions that had been bottled up. But sometimes, just a little, it was worth it.

3rd POV
Y/n leant her head back against the white, pristine, condensation-covered wall, watching the water fall in front of her as the tears fell silently.

Her hand that held the phone, fell to rest on the floor, as the cold water swirled around it, on its way to the drain. She cried helplessly, but still quiet as ever.

She didn't know what she was crying about. There were a lot of reasons, but still there seemed to be none.

She was angry, and sad, and grateful, and- and a huge variety of other unexplainable emotions. Y/n was confused. She wasn't doing too well in the well-being scale, but she managed. Well. Most of the time.

The girl had suffered from a maybe-just-a-little-unfair amount of mental illnesses, and she tended to overthink a lot, not that her life was so exciting that there was anything to overthink about anyway.

She suffered from Pure O (Purely Obsessional OCD); a type of OCD where the sufferer has to deal with constant intrusive, unpleasant thoughts. Instead of combating these intrusive thoughts with physical or visibal rituals, like washing their hands, or counting, they tend to perform repetitive, mental rituals to keep stress levels at a low.
In y/n's case, she often tried to simply ignore the thoughts.

She suffered from ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder); a chronic condition where the sufferer struggles to pay attention to a lot of things, like conversations. These normally only last for a couple of minutes until they get distracted, unless the topic is something they are interested in. ADD can be recognized in children, and can last all the way to adulthood. The illness can cause low self-esteem, troubled relationships, and especially difficulty at school or work.

She suffered from AD (Asperger's Syndrome); a development disorder that affects the ability to comfortably socialize and communicate. AD is a condition on the Autism spectrum, with relatively higher functioning. Y/n didn't suffer from this too seriously, she tended to try forget about people around her. When she's around others, or part of conversations, she instinctively acts like a social butterfly, though really, she's extremely anti-social.

She also suffered from the classics; Depression and Anxiety, the infamous best buddies of mental health.

There were others, but they grow more complicated as it goes. Y/n also often had panic and anxiety attacks, and felt extremely uncomfortable and self-conscious in public places.

Y/n had been an only child, her father had passed when she was younger and her mother left her a year back. Now she lives illegally in the apartment she and her mother had shared in San Diego. She's in her last year of highschool and is soon turning 18.

She lived off of the money that was donated to her through her Twitch streams. She was a successful faceless streamer with around 800k subs on both Twitch and YouTube.

Y/n's hands gripped into fists as she laughed bitterly at herself.

"How pathetic" she sighed.

She finished her shower quickly. Washing her hair, body, and face, shaving, and cleaning her teeth.

The song had moved onto 'Moon' also by LEMMiNO. She switched off the water, and grabbed a towel and dried herself down before pulling on a pair of gray sweats and a navy button-down shirt. She put in her earrings, and styled her hair for the day.
