Dream's POV

"Well I'll see you soon then. In how long?" She asked.

"Just under a day" Sapnap replied.

"Oh, that's a while" she sounded sad now. "Anyway, stay safe, and I guess I'll see you soon!" She covered her mood with a laugh.

"Yeah"

"See you soon"

"She's so cute" Sapnap laughed, as he watched the sunrise through the window.

"That's bold of you" I smirked.

"Yeah, well it's the truth. You look me in the eyes and tell me she's not cute" I saw him look towards me through my peripheral vision.

"I can't. I'm driving" I said, not taking my eyes off the road.

"Tell me, are you not nervous at all? To let more people see what you look like, I mean?" He asked.

"Well, yeah. I'm nervous, but we get to see what she looks like too. She's faceless too, remember?"

"Well yeah, I just thought you'd be more anxious is all" Sapnap replied.

"It's not too bad at the moment. It'll probably hit me once we get to San Diego" I explained.

"Ah. Okay"

Your POV

"Bro. Babe" I said.

"Shortie. Darling" he replied.

"I'm going out for coffee. Do you want anything?" I ask, gathering my phone and keys.

"This late?" He asked, looking up at me from taking some sheets into the boy's bedroom so I could make their beds later.

"What time is it?" I asked. Corpse glanced at the digital clock in the wall.

"3:17AM" He replied. "Will anything still be open?" He asked.

"Yeah the café I go to is 24 hours" I answered.

"Oh. Then just a black coffee then, if they ask, 2 sugars and no milk, please" Corpse requests.

"Okay. I'll be back soon. Dream and Sapnap should be here soon too" I reminded him. He nodded.

It had been approximately 22 hours since I'd called. I made it down to my car, and connected my phone to it after I'd gotten in and locked the doors.

I was waiting at a red light in an empty intersection when I received a call from Sapnap. I answered immediately.

"Good morning" I chime.

"You sound very awake, Darling" Sapnap mused. He sounded run down.

"Yes, I'm not even home" I admit.

"Well, then where are you?" Dream asked.

"On my way to a café" I reply.

"At this time?" Sapnap questions.

"Yeah, 24 hour café" I explained.

"Oh. Well we just rung to let you know that we're in San Diego" Sapnap sang.

"Yay, finally" I sighed.

"Yeah, we'll be there in about.. an hour or so" Dream said, that's when I just realized how croaky and sore his throat sounded.

"Oush Dream, you're not sounding too good" I muttered.

"Gee, thanks" he replied. I laughed.

"Hah- n-no no, I meant you sound ill" I laughed.
