Chapter 1: Tutorial

I looked at the screen in front of me blinking a few times... 

[Welcome player. Do you wish to use the system?]

[Accept Yes/No?]

Now. Like most people, I was having a completely normal and expected reaction from this. I immediately thought I had gone crazy. I was seeing this weird blue box... Of course, I was under stress so I mean... It could happen? 

I had just gotten a letter from the school saying that if I failed one more major test or spars that I would be expelled... And that made me go coco for cocoa puffs? Really? 

Oh, wait! Maybe I fell asleep! That's what it had to be. I was dreaming all this up. So that meant that this was all just some descriptive dream. Well... If I was going to dream I should at least enjoy it. 

So I reached out and pressed the Y button since it most likely stood for Yes. 

[New quest has been issued!]
Tutorial!
Objective: Complete the tutorial! 
Rewards: 50 exp, 10 Lien
Failure: None

[Accept Yes/No?]

I nodded and pressed the yes button again. So there were gonna be quests for this dream? Well, I guess I should at least follow the plot to my dream. So I pressed the yes button again.

"Oh... Status?" I asked tilting my head.

And immediately another blue screen popped up covering the ones from before.

"Side quests," I said sitting up crossing my legs.

Failure: None

[Accept Yes/No?]

"Yeah," I said deciding to test if I had to only click the button. But when the accept box disappeared I guess I did take the quest. So I could accept by saying yes as well. 

"So how do I use a skill? Well, I have Aura amplification and Aura manipulation... So pr-" But as I spoke my aura began to flare to life illuminating parts of my room.

[Aura manipulation has leveled up! Aura manipulation is now level 2.]

But as soon as I went to read the new screens that appeared my aura had disappeared. I guess like normal it would have to take my focus to use it. But now they leveled up... I wonder what would be the max level?
