It was the next day after training with Yang and luckily a long night of sleep made it at least bearable. But even then I still was lucky that today during our spars there was an odd number of people so I could sit out for once.

But still, I had to run laps or do push-ups instead just to make sure that I was still doing something. But even that just helped me out since I ended up getting an extra dex point thanks to my hard work.

When I did get to normal classes I was surprised when Yang struck up a conversation with me. Yes, I had a few acquaintances in the class but the limit to that was working together on assignments without being annoyed by one another.

"Hey! Y/n! Good afternoon. How'd your sparing go?" She asked sitting down in the seat in front of me which was currently empty.

"I didn't get a chance to. Didn't have a partner." I said shrugging setting my bag down.

"Well if you want to later we can go at it again. I'm sure you'll be able to handle it."

But as if on instinct at hearing the premise of fighting Yang my body immediately began shaking wanting nothing more than to run away.

Quick what would be a good excuse-

"Martial arts. I'm gonna try and learn the martial arts you taught me but in a full fight you'd crush me. So I'll train on my own with one of the dummies." I said coming up with the first thing that came to mind.

"Oh too bad. My sister wanted to meet you. I tried to tell her about the aura techniques you taught me but she didn't understand a thing." She said leaning back in her chair.

[Quest has been issued!]
I Burn! Part 2.
Objective: Teach Yang's sister Aura Amplification and Aura manipulation.
Rewards: 1000 exp, 10 burn dust crystal shards
Failure: I Burn questline will be locked forever

[Accept Yes/No?]

I had to try my best not to look too freaked out. 300 exp was enough for me to level up before and 1000 whole exp would probably level me up twice.

"Well if that's the deal sure I'll try and help her." I said and luckily like I thought just saying sure was enough to accept the quest.

"Really? Cool! You can meet her after school. Fair warning she's a little bit of a social butterfly." She said with a small laugh.

"That's fine. Honestly I've never seen you with a sister around here though. Is she older?" I asked.

"Younger actually. Two years to be exact. You might have heard of her. Ruby Rose? She has a scythe that turns into a rifle."

"Oh, I know her. I've seen her around once or twice when I was training. Wait... Rose?" I asked finally noticing that their last names were different.

"Ah. She's my half-sister to be exact. We have different moms." She explained easily. Looks like I wasn't the only one to notice.

"Oh. That makes sense then. Well, we can do some training after I teach her how... Just try not to go too hard. I'm still sore from the hits yesterday." I said sighing as I shook my head.

"Alright students! We're going to be having a pop quiz today! Get in your seats!" The teacher said as he walked into the room.

(Timeskip brought to you by Chibi Y/n studying like a madman for the tests behind the scenes.)

Honestly, when I saw Yang's sister I was shocked. The two looked completely different from each other. Yang was tall and gave off a confident personality while her sister was short and seemed very nervous around me.
