Once someone asked me, why am I so honest, so stubborn, so straight forward.
Why do I not love and care?
It took me a while to understand what they meant.
After a brief moment I replied, "Because if i love someone, I would not care about their appearances, the things they do nor what they like.
I would do anything for them and would not care about the consequences.
I wouldn't wait to defy others for them and I would not hesitate to die for them."
They were indeed taken aback but asked, "Aren't these just words? I never saw you doing that for anyone."
I gave a small chuckle and responded, "Because I donot wish to give just anyone such power and control over me."
Saying that I smiled and left.
