I wish upon a star
And see the sky from afar
Wondering if I ever be
A part of something that is all
Colorful, bright and vast
Even a little weird at all
Trying to imagine
In this grey and dull
Dusty world I live in now
The sun rising and setting
A decent cycle I wanted
For so long
Going out each day
So much noise that I hear
Sighing aloud I reach out
To close my ears
That crave for some silence
Because they can not bear
Clenching my chest
That asks for some rest
From all the pressure
That is putted on me
It's gonna end but well or not
I don't know the rest
Disheartened but not giving up
Tired but not weak
Hesitating but not lost
Sometime may it be all alone
But I have a secret world
Within me that's my own
I wish upon a star
To never loose this spark
The only colorful remnant
And a kind of mark
That gives me life
To strive all day long
