How long does it take for people to notice
The things they say really hurts
I may laugh and smile like any other
But do you see the place I end up alone?
I wish you heard me long ago
But the voice can't reach so far away
My mind is really a messed up place
You won't be able to survive little bit
"I'm just going to be myself"
I say because life will go on anyway
People don't need to approve
And I don't have time to care
I wish you would see this place
A place inside me tearing away
Sometimes it's soothing
Sometimes it rust away
Still I wish for such a place
That is till the end
A forever changing
A forever remaining
