I returned to the hotel room and I rushed to lay down in the bed, trying to conceal sleep before seven am.
But I couldn't, I just kept playing all that happened that night inside my head.

Louis.
How I met Louis.
How I got to touch Louis.
How good it felt.

All of him.
All of Louis was intoxicating.
The way he kissed.
All the things he said to me.

He got me hypnotized.
Every time I tried to close my eyes, I saw him.

I laid awake the rest of the night with a idiotic smile on my face, staring at the ceiling and trying to convince myself it wasn't just a dream.
Even though it felt like it.

Soon enough the clock hit seven am and I had to get up for work, not having slept at all.

In the morning when I left the room, I unconsciously walked to the coffee shop where I met Louis the night before.

I could always order a coffee before going to work.

The coffee shop was too crowded in the morning, lots of people at the counter, lots of waiters walking around with different breakfast on their platters and lots of customers ordering from their tables and at the takeaway queue.

It was just crazy for a place that small.

I stood in line and my eyes wandered around the room, searching for a pair of blue eyes.
I didn't even notice that the queue had dissolved ahead of me.

"Hello there, can I help you?" - A girl asked me from the cash counter.

"Mmmm I don't know." - I said, still trying to look around to find Louis.

"Would you like something to drink?"

I continued searching for him from a distance.

"I'm so sorry, I'm... confused. Mmm, yeah please a black coffee."

"Take away?"

I looked at the door behind her, the one that led to the kitchen, trying to see through the glass if I could spot him inside.

Damn, he is all that I can think about.

"Sir?" - She insisted.

"Sorry, what did you say?"

"Take away? Or to drink here?" - She repeated.

I looked at the time on the screen of my phone. I was late.

"Take away, please."

"Good, you can wait for your order at the end of the counter."

I nodded and walked passed through a group of people towards the end of the counter where a barista was making my coffee.

While I waited, I looked around again, but Louis was nowhere in sight.

I felt someone pushing me aside and mumbling a little 'sorry' while quickly walking away.
When I turned around, I saw him, holding a platter in his hands and rushing to attend to some customer.

I stared at him, at his moves, at his polite but shiny smile, and listened to his voice clearly, even though he was on the other side of the room, until he finally looked up at me.

I felt it. I felt the connection right there.
Like everything had stopped.

I saw how he was looking at me.
How he brushed his lips with his tongue.
He was standing there, just a heartbeat away.
