Y/N had a rough day. He had been misgendered a few times at work and it really hit him hard.

But he knew that the end of the day would be worth it, he gets to see his wonderful boyfriend, Akaashi.

The day ended and he walked home from the Cafe he worked at. His cheeks still had light tear stains from earlier.

Y/N walked in and heard Akaashi yell from the kitchen.

"Welcome home love! I made dinne-"

Akaashi nearly dropped the plates in his hands. He quickly put them down and walked over to Y/N.

"Are you alright?? Are you hurt?? Did you have a rough day?"

Y/N basically broke down sobbing.

Akaashi put his hands on Y/N's cheeks.

"Hey. It's okay, it's okay. Breathe."

Akaashi breathed in and out slowly a few times, Y/N following along after a moment.

Akaashi smiled.

"Rough day again?"

Y/N nodded. "I just want everyone to go away. They don't understand. You're the only one who understands me Keiji."

Akaashi knew Y/N was feeling bad today because he rarely used his first name.

"Oh, my poor sunshine. Come, sit down. Eat something first. We'll watch a movie."

Akaashi smiled as Y/N ate his dinner before holding him, running his fingers through his short but fluffy hair.

"Shh, everything is okay. You're here with me now."

Akaashi said, putting on Y/N's favorite movie.

Akaashi quietly hummed as Y/N slowly fell asleep.

The last words Y/N heard before he fell asleep were.

"My beautiful boy~"
