Jean huffs as he puts his book bag onto the edge of his bed and he sits there himself, thinking about how he saw you. He had just recently transferred to this new college and he was excited to see his friends again, but also curious to see you.
He had a ton of questions roaming through his mind..do you still find comfort in the stars and the night sky?
Do you still have a self care day every Saturday?
Do you still make cute vlogs for people where you just..ramble?
He chuckled lightly to himself but also began to feel guilty about the things that he did to lead up to that moment.. to make you resent him like this even today. He sighs again as he lays down on his comfortable bed on his back now, staring at the ceiling as he reminisces about the old days and times, where everything was easy before he ruined it for good.

You rummage through your disorganised locker as you look for your biology textbooks, letting out an exasperated sigh. Work sheets come flying out and onto the floor and you mutter curse words under your breath, squatting down to pick them up. It was the last school day of junior year before exam season and all you were really focused on is academic success.
You then see another hand picking up the sheets to help you, you turn to see Jean, your supposed academic rival turned to..well.. you didn't quite know. Before the both of you would jump down eachothers throats but now he's quite nice to you. You found it a bit weird, you were sure you would catch him flirting here and there but you brushed it off.
You couldn't help but feel butterflies around him, whether he wrapped his arms around your neck or held your waist in the crowded halls at school so you didn't trip and fall. It made your heart flutter in ways you couldn't explain.
Jean hands you all the pages that fell onto the floor. "Thanks." You smile, taking them and then getting up to look through your locker to find your books again. You shove them somewhere and then manage to find the biology books wedged in with others.
"You coming to Mikasa's end of year party?" Jean asks you as he leans against a locker facing you. You shut your locker and then turn to him. "I don't know..probably not to be honest."
"Oh come on, it will be a lot of fun. It's at her lake house." He chuckles lightly. "It won't be any fun without you.." He says.
