3rd Person

Peko walked down the hallway to Enoshima's body. Fuyuhiko had replaced his eye with hers two weeks ago. None of the Remnants have seen each other in a week, but planned to the next day. As they entered the room where her body lay, Peko slipped a small box cutter out of her pocket.
"Peko, you know you don't have to do this. It's not safe." Fuyuhiko said. She shook her head.
"It's what I should do. It's what she would've wanted, Young Master." Peko responded.
"I told you to stop calling me that." He mumbled.
"Sorry." They entered the room, sitting down next to Enoshima's head. Peko opened Junko's eyelids with her index finger, cutting out her remaining blue eyeball with the box cutter. Now came the hard part.
"Peko... Please make sure you 100% want to do this. It hurts a lot." Fuyuhiko pleaded. Peko nodded, taking a deep breath. She raised the box cutter to her eye, holding it open. After a few seconds, she sliced it through her left eye. Blood poured from her slashed eye, tears from her unslashed eye. Taking a shaky breath, she sliced her eye again, letting out a shrill scream that was muffled by Peko pushing her head against Fuyuhiko's shoulder. Her breath was jagged and she felt lightheaded. Pushing Enoshima's eye into her own empty socket as fast as she could, she cried onto Fuyuhiko's neck again. He placed a comforting kiss on her forehead.
"It'll hurt less in a few hours." He whispered. Hot pink blood from his girlfriends missing eye poured onto the back of his suit. Slowly, she grabbed a small piece of fabric from her pocket and wrapped around her now closed left eye, before standing up. Leaning on Fuyuhiko, Peko shakily walked back to her house.

Pulling out a first aid kit, Peko tended to her new eye, wiping off the excess blood and wrapping a bandage around it. Meeting Fuyuhiko back in their bedroom, Peko collapsed onto the plush bed. She was exhausted and still lightheaded. Curling up next to her, Fuyuhiko wrapped his arms around her waist.
"Good night, Fuyuhiko..." She whispered softly, wrapping her arms back around him.
"See you in the morning, Peko." He mumbled back.

Peko woke up to a soft tapping on her shoulder. She sat up as Fuyuhiko cleaned up her eye, which was healing very quickly. Once they got to the park where the Remnants were meeting, the couple sat down. They were the first ones there. After a bit, most of the class was there.
"What happened to your eye, Peko?" TeruTeru asked. They all looked to her as she untied the fabric around her eye. Slowly, she let her left eyelid flutter open, revealing the blue orb underneath it. Some of the Remnants gasped.
"Why'd you do that?!" Akane shouted.
"He did, why shouldn't I? Lady Junko wouldn't mind." Peko responded, pointing to Fuyuhiko. Suddenly, blood rushed to her eye, slowly dripping down her face.
"Oops. Forgot it wasn't fully healed." She mumbled while tying the fabric back around her eye.

Time skip

Peko sat in the front of a large private jet. Fuyuhiko was on her left, the rest of the Remnants crowding about in the back of the plane. As they flew over a large island, Peko saw something flying towards the plane. Instinctively, she grabbed her boyfriends arm, pulling him closer. As the explosive hit the plane, Peko wrapped her body around Fuyuhikos, protecting him. While the others plummeted towards the large crash pad that the Future Foundation had placed, Peko and Fuyuhiko fell somewhere different. They were at the front of the plane, after all. Peko landed on her back, letting go of Fuyuhiko.
"Peko!" He yelled. Future Foundation doctors rushed out. A gas filed the air and Fuyuhiko passed out.

The former Remnants crowded into the large cafeteria. Doctors were giving them an explanation of what was happening.
"Where is Peko?" Fuyuhiko asked suddenly.
"That is none of your concern." Someone said.
"What do you mean that's none of my concern?! She's my girlfriend!" He shouted back. The doctor sighed.
"Miss Pekoyama and you missed the crash pad we had placed, landing on the beach." The doctor said.
"So why am I in this room and she's not?" He pressed on.
"Pekoyama died from the blunt force trauma to the back of her neck and her spine caused by landing on the sand, though we had the equipment on hand to bring her back. She should make a full recovery, but it will take a while, as almost dying on impact takes the longest to heal. Her spine was fractured and she broke her arm. Pekoyama is in a medically induced coma so we can fix her spine. Now hush." The doctor informed the group. Fuyuhiko looked shocked, as did the rest of the class, but they stopped talking back to the doctors.
