Shocker i still don't owe NCIS: Los Angeles!!!

Eric's P.O.V.

I woke up with a throbbing headache. Then it all came back to me. The horrible driver and poor Nell.

Oh bugger.

I tried To open my eyes. I could only open one because the other one was too swollen. I open one eye.
I immediately regretted that. Bright light stung my eye. I closed it again.
I couldn't even open my eyes.

I could feel a bed under me. Where was I?

I felt someone take my hand. I heard A shallow voice "Eric?" It seemed like she was miles away. "Eric?" It said again this time it sounded closer. I recognized it. It was Nell's voice. "Eric?" It came a 3rd time and I tried to answered, but when I opened my mouth the only thing that would come out was a groan. My ribs and lungs hurt.
I tried again to open my eyes, but I failed again. "It's okay you don't have to open your eyes right now." She reassured me. I felt her hand squeeze mine. I squeezed hers back. "Where a- *cough* are we?" I managed to say. But my ribs hurt. I felt like couldn't breathe. "Hawaii Naval Hospital". She answered. "Wha- what *cough* happened after I bla- blacked out?". *cough*

Nell's P.O.V.

"Wh- what *cough* happened after I bla- blacked out?" He coughed again.
I took a deep breath.
Warm tears was silently rolling down my cheeks.
I looked down at his beaten body. His whole face was black and blue. His right eye was so swollen that he could not open it.
The doctor told me that he had two broken ribs, and a mild concision. Not exactly the best vacation ever. I started to explain what happened. "Umm... After he kicked you in face he kicked you, like, all over. But mostly in your stomach. After that the police arrived. A lady walking her dog saw the whole thing." I said. "So, they arrested him?" Eric asked. "No, he ran away from the cops when they got there." I said sadly.

I swear I heard Eric mumble "bugger" under his breath.
He tried again to open his eyes and this time he succeeded.

Eric's P.O.V.

I could finally open my eyes. A first I couldn't see anything because of the burning light. After a few seconds my eyes adjusted to the light.

I looked up at the white ceiling. There was a lamp in the middle.

I looked to my left. My eyes caught Nell. Her right cheek was blue and her lip was split. I reached my right hand up to brush off a falling tear, but pain shot trough the right side of my body. I grimaced in pain. "Please don't try to move you have two broken ribs" She begged me. "OK." I replied.

She leaned down and kissed me and one of her tears landed on my cheek. I kissed her back. "I Love you" I said to her. "I love you too" she said as she started sobbing into my shoulder. Every sob broke my heart a little. I was gonna kill this son of a bitch...
