Wanda wasn't expecting anything to happen today. She was just cleaning up some stuff, sitting around. But she had this feeling. It wasn't hurt or pain or anything, she just felt like she had to walk.
So she walked. And walked. And walked. For hours. She was confused on why she listened to this feeling. Then she finally got sick of walking. She was a witch! She finally flew to where she felt she had to go, which most definitely was easier that spending that whole time walking.
There was a girl. She was young, she was getting really pale too. She was wearing such a heavy suit. She's probably overheating in that Wanda picks her up and does her best to get her back, despite it being challenging with her having the suit on. It adds about 90 extra pounds.
She finally gets her to her cabin. First, she makes sure to get that horrid suit off of her. She got it off until its was just her in some shorts and a white shirt. She got her onto her stomach and saw the gashes up and down her back. She got rolls of gauze and wrapped them around her upper body, covering the gashes.
Then to her arms, she cleaned them with alcohol and covered them too. Lastly her legs, they were fine but bruised up. She gets her spare blankets and pillows, and tried making a makeshift bed on her floor, she got her on her stomach and made sure she was comfy. Then covered her up.
Why did I do all of this? She was thinking of what came over her. I would've never done this for anyone. I'm sure I wouldn't have done this for anyone else. Why her?
She walks to her bedroom, leaving the door open a bit in case the girl needs her. Her other self was in the corner still studying the book. She sits in her bed and thinks. Thinking about Westview, Vision, her kids, her brother. She missed it. She knew bygones should be bygones but she couldn't help it. They were the best things of her life. They were the only things in her life.
"Um, thank you!" The girl scared her out of her thoughts. She didn't notice but it had been a few hours since she went to her room. Wow, time flies.
"You're welcome!" Wanda exclaimed from her room. She walked out of her room to see how the girl was doing. The girl looked confused. Wanda watched as the girl was trying to get up and move, but instead got her head up off the pillow and dramatically hit it back on to it. "You know, you shouldn't move so much."
Wanda's voice scared the girl. "Oh shit you're right there now, but yeah, I noticed." She watched as the girl tensed up a bit. "How did I get here, where am I..." The girl continued on with her questions, freaking her self more, trying to move again. Wanda sat right beside her then put her hand on her shoulder to calm her.
"Shh, you're fine here. Stop trying to move, you'll hurt yourself even more." Surprisingly it helped. She felt her relax. "So, tell me, what's your name?"
"Its... Y/N." The girl says with her head in the pillow, so it was pretty muffled. But Wanda could hear her clear enough. It went quiet. Wanda looked around to find a topic to talk about. Her eyes landed on Y/N's suit.
"The suit, that's a SEAL suit. How long did you serve?" Wanda asked, still rubbing Y/N's shoulder. She didn't even realize she was. It was just like an instinct thing. Y/N didn't mind it easier. It made her feel more comfortable. More at peace.
"I mean, technically 11 years. But for about 6 years, I was either in a coma or blipped so, like 5 actual years." She tensed up again, like it was such a sore subject. "I feel like I'll be stuck being 24 forever dude, it actually sucks."
"Coma, what happened then?" Another sore subject. Y/N just sighed as if she was done answering that question, but still reluctantly answered the question."The whole stupid Avenger and Ultron thing. Got hit by some falling... things, I don't know. One minute I was helping people get to safety, next I was out and in a hospital. It was a whole year and man it was scary man." Y/N then relaxed again. "But my dad was there. He was so happy I woke up. He should me the hundreds of cards I got from people for saving their family members and stuff."
"You were a real hero, weren't you?" Y/N laughed and nodded a little while yawning. She dozed off to the feeling of Wanda rubbing her shoulder. It was the most peace she felt in a while. She wasn't nervous, or scared, or mad, or sad. She was content. She was just able to talk and Wanda, despite not knowing her, or even her name, just listened to her. She seemed completely interested, and she gave her the feeling she longed for. Calm.
But that feeling wouldn't last long...
