There were no calls, no texts, nothing. Eventually Wanda stopped waiting for Y/N in America, moving back to her cabin in the woods, fixing it up. She hadn't been there in a while, since everything went down. But it felt different. The air was warmer, it was a homey atmosphere. She was finally home, she wasn't being chased, she wasn't on edge, she wasn't scared anymore. It was peaceful, having almost everything back.

But not almost everything still wasn't enough to stop hearing them. Her kids, vision, it was like every time she wasn't busy, she could here there screams for help. She stood in her kitchen, staring into a wall, trying to make the thoughts and sounds of them go away. She could feel the spring air coming through the window. And deeper and deeper, she sunk away in the feeling of guilt and fear.

Everything stopped. Every bad feeling she had, gone. The hairs on her arm began to stand up. She looks towards the door, using her magic to open it. And there she stood, right about to knock on the door. She had the same duffle bag and everything.

"Y/N..." Wanda stares over at her.

"I'm sorry for the late notice, I wanted to come back to the place where my life was flipped. I couldn't stop thinking and wishing that this all would've never happened." She drops her bag in the doorway, taking a look at the place. "I realized that without this happening, without you happening I would've let SWORD control my world, and I would've probably be dead by now."

"You made those decisions on your own."

"I wouldn't have. They left me to die for weeks, they came when we messed with the tracker. Who knows how long it would've been before they came for me if they didn't!  Even if you were annoyed with me here, you still saved me. And I was a jerk to you, a lot of the time and yeah."

"So what's with the bag?"

"Kind of hoping to stay here for a while."

"And I was just going to let you?"

"You seem to need some company."

"You were pretty hostile last time we spoke." Wanda puts her coffee down, crossing her arms. The company she brought was nice, the feeling of her being there was warm, it wasn't like she didn't want her there.

Y/N walks over to her, looking into her eyes, and grabbing her arms. "I wasn't all there, I was still comprehending what all went down. It was too much all at once, and it was just a bad situation and I blew up. I'm so grateful for everything you've done for me. I'm so sorry for everything I had said and done. I'm sorry."

And there they stand, staring into each others eyes. Slight Deja vu, it was like this was supposed to happen. Wanda closes the space between them, not once breaking eye contact. She goes to speak, but Y/N grabs her head and pulls her into a kiss. Without any hesitation, Wanda kisses back.

After a few seconds, they pull apart. Wanda clears her throat stepping back a little bit. Y/N does too, looking around trying not to look at Wanda, feeling her face getting red. "I'm, I'm sorry, it was just the heat of the moment, I was just happy to see you, and happy to come to terms with my feelings."

"You can stay." Wanda smiles over at Y/N. "I want you to stay, I'll need help with the landscaping anyways."

Chuckling, Y/N gives her a wide smile back. And there it began, the spark between them.

...

That night, Y/N was all unpacked, and they were sitting together on the couch, laughing with each other, telling stories of SWORD and Avengers. Y/N lays her head on Wanda's shoulder, taking in the moment. Wanda holds her, bringing her close, and putting a blanket over them. Playing with her hair, making her feel comfortable.

"Are we together? Like are we a thing?" Y/N asks, half asleep.

"Lets not label things yet, lets just leave it be for now and we can figure it out. We have time."

With a nod, Y/N falls to sleep happily. And in that moment, it was just them two against the world.
