A/N: Apologies for the identical introduction in this chapter as the prologue. The dialogue and such is the same in game after the flashback light so I thought it was fitting!

Dark.
All you could see, dark.
Push forward. Open.
And that's exactly what you did. Placing your hands forward, touching what felt like a metal door, you pushed it open with all your might. In hindsight, that was a bad idea. The door opened easier than expected and the force that was used caused you to fall onto a cold wooden flooring.
A... classroom?
Thankfully, your arms broke your fall and you didn't end up hitting your head too badly.
"Ow..." You groaned in pain. Looking behind you, you realized what you had just fallen out of was none other than a locker, next to two other open ones. "What the..."
"Another one?"
You heard a voice, of a boy you'd presume. In fact, you look back up to find two, both wearing somewhat odd clothing. You've never been so confused in your life, what are you doing here? "Are you alright?" Said one of the boys. He had white hair poking to the side and bright turquoise eyes. He reached out his hand for you to take, and you did just that. He pulled you up, his body parts making almost robotic noises as his joints moved.
"Thank you.." You muttered. Still fascinated by him, you curiously examined him and looked him up and down.
"I-Is something the matte-"
"You look strange. Are you a robot?" You impulsively asked, not giving him time to finish his sentence.
"Yes, indeed I am. In fact-"
The robot boy didn't get to finish his sentence before getting interrupted by five stuffed bears entering the room, with one hell of an entrance and cutting your conversation short.
"Rise and shine, Ursine!" The red bear exclaimed as the robot boy yelped in surprise.
"AAAAH!" He yelled and clung to my arm like his life depended on it. Meanwhile, the other boy in the room was excited for the most part and generally fascinated by the stuffed animals, like a little kid in a toy store.
"Wow!" The boy said excitedly. "Walking, talking stuffed animals! You don't see that every day!"
The bears were obviously offended from being called stuffed animals, so the blue one retorted with, "Hey! We're not Monokubs! We're the stuffed animals!"
"Psst, Monokid, you're saying your lines backwards-" The yellow bear told the blue bear, which you can only guess is named Monokid.
"No stuffed animals us! The Monokubs them!"
"Oh jeez it's even worse now..."
"W-Wait, hold on!" You spoke up and got their attention. "What in the world is going on? Who are these boys and why in the world are we here? I'm really confused..."
After you said that, the Monokub things looked at one another and cheered. "Yay!! It worked! Had me worried there for a second."
"Worried about what?" The robot boy asked them.
"One issue at a time people!" The red bear said. "So, what's your question?"
"Well, I've got a lot. But for starters-"
