*At the Great Hall*

Narrator POV

Before students could make their way into the Great Hall, all the Professors made their way to their seats, Y/n sat between Professor Snape and Professor McGonagall waiting for students to take their seats. Then 5 minutes later Y/n could see Gryffindor's, Slytherin's, Hufflepuff's and Ravenclaw's of all ages between 12 to 17 pouring into the room and taking their seats at the separate house tables.

As the night went on Y/n blocked out Dumbledore talking, watching as Draco and Harry glare at each other until she hears Dumbledore speak again.

Dumbledore: Now before the feast begins, I would like to introduce our new Defence against the dark arts teacher Professor Lupin, and our new Muggle Studies teacher Professor L/n.

Both the new Professors stood up and either waved or gave a small bow to introduce themselves, then sat back down as the students clapped uninterested as if waiting for dinner to end so that they could go to sleep and see the next day. So as soon as the food appeared on the table students and staff started talking, more specifically Y/n and other Professors.

Snape: So, Y/n, right?

Y/n: Yeah, Y/n L/n.

Snape: So, what is your blood status?

Y/n: Oh, umm not sure why that matters But I am a muggle born, why do you ask?

Snape: Just Curious.

Y/n: Mhm, sure, so tell me who causes the most problems within the houses?

Snape: Potter and Malfoy, in other words Gryffindor and Slytherin.

Y/n: *soft chuckle* Makes sense every kind of group has some sort of rivalry.

Both Professors let out soft chuckles and spent the rest of the night talking and somewhere within the night it was like a mutual agreement to become friends was made and so Snape even agreed to help teach Y/n potions in order to help develop her magic.

*The Next Day*

*Y/n's POV*

After breakfast I spent the first few minutes of my day before any of my classes, decorating the room to make it look interesting. I put a reading corner near the window seat of the back corner of the classroom, I hung posters for movies and book series around the room, and a moveable tv above and behind my standing place.

After some time, I had finished decorating and so I checked my timetable to see that I had 3rd year Gryffindors and Slytherins and the thought that came to my mind was

Y/n: Oh god.

And conveniently the second that was said, those very students came slowly walking through my door, staring in awe at the classroom they were standing in.

Y/n: Alrighty 3rd years please take your seats, sit with your friends or don't I don't really care! Now if you don't already know who I am then let me reintroduce myself! I am Professor Y/n L/n, I would prefer you to call me Professor or Miss unless I say otherwise! So, for starters I have some rules or expectations!

1.You must be on your best behaviour while in my class, I would like you all to get along no matter what house you are in, and if you all can successfully get along with each other then house points will be rewarded. At the end of every week, we will have a day full of watching muggle movies.

2.Blood status is not a thing in my classroom, so there are no such thing as pure bloods, or half bloods or even Muggle born. So, if I hear anyone use the word Mudblood in my classroom severe points will be taken from your house and you will receive a detention.
