Chapter 8: Where to Next?

Narrators POV

???: Professor, you said that peter pan was apart of a tv show, could we watch the episode in which he was in?

The question shocked Y/n quite a bit, but she knew someone would ask a question like this or something similar. Y/n didn't know what to answer with, part of her was saying that she should, that it would be nice to relive her memories of the man she loved and lost, but another part of her was screaming that if she did watch back the memories, the fall back would be that she would have to watch his death again but in a 3rd person point of view. In the end the pleading looks from her students finally got to her and so she as she let a sigh of defeat, she nods her head and pressed play after warning her students that Peter pan wasn't exactly the hero of the story, which let some students puzzled about what exactly she meant.

Y/n: Alright we can watch all the episodes he was in but, remember in this universe he was never exactly the hero of the story.

Y/n: So, I present to you! Once Upon a Time, season 3!

And so, Y/n played the episodes (Dumbledore gave her the version of the episodes to show she was actually a part of it). And as they watched them everyones opinion of peter changed from weather he was a bad guy because of things he was planning for himself and for the heros, but then there were people who only focused on when he was with Y/n, which Y/n herself was one of those people. Even so they loved to see Peter pan and Y/n together because of how sweetly he treated her, they would aww and giggle and although the girls did swoon of Peter, they still made comments to Y/n about how lucky she was to have had a relationship like that, though she didn't say it Y/n disagreed she didn't think she was lucky but was glad to have had him inn her life for awhile.

Eventually the moment Y/n dreaded watching had come. . .

Peter Pans death!

(Scene start)

When freezing the fairy tales with the curse, it was not surprizing to Y/n and Peter when the curse refused to place itself on Y/n. So, when Y/n noticed it was time for Peter to die she took her last moments to say a last goodbye to him (Peter Pan).

Y/n: Wait Rumple! Please before you do what you are planning on doing let me say one last goodbye!

Peter: What?! What are you talking about? Last goodbye? Y/n? Love, you know whats going on?

Y/n: I'm so sorry Peter, I've always known this was your fate, it is why I spent as much time with you as possible.

Peter: Its my ending, isnt it?

Y/n: I'm afraid so, but I wanted to do one last thing before you go.

And with that she ran into his arms for what was the first and last time, and Rumpelstiltskin watched the girl and the immortal body of his farther wrap their arms around each other squeezing hard afraid to let go, knowing they will maybe never see each other again. And for the first time in a long time Peter was afraid, because for once in this lifetime he was losing.

Peter: I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer my love.

Y/n: its okay, its okay. You and I know there is nothing we can do about it now love.

And in that moment, Rumpelstiltskin, and the others frozen by the curse that were watching, knew how much Peter Pan now cared and loved Y/n but that there was no way to twist fate and there was nothing, no one could do about Peters fate.

Rumple: Alright times up dearie, you know there is nothing you can do about it, c'mon papa your fate awaits you.

Peter and Y/n break from their hug and it was clear that Y/n was in tears. But what was shocking to even Peter himself was that there was one single tear running down his face (Peter), causing Y/n's heart to break just that little bit more.
