Once dinner is over we all stay in our seats as Dumbledork stands to make his end-of-year speech. "Another year has gone! now, as I understand it, the house cup needs awarding and the points stand thus: in fourth place, Gryffindor, with three hundred and twelve pints; in third, Hufflepuff, with three hundred and fifty-two points; Ravenclaw have four hundred and twenty-six and Slytherin, four hundred and seventy-two."

Our whole table cheered and I took extra pleasure in the look of pure agony that Dumbledork had at having to admit that Slytherin won the cup. He did try to hide it but just ended up looking constipated which only made me laugh loudly while dad gave me an amused look.

Once we are done cheering he sends up on our way early and we all leave. I say goodbye to the others and they all go to their dorm rooms. They usually would have come with us until curfew but since we were all going home tomorrow they all had some last-minute packing to do.

Once we are back in the common room I wave my hand and each table becomes covered in crystal bowls filled with sweets and chocolates from both the wizarding world and the muggle world. "Congratulations for all working together to earn points. I'm proud of you my snakes. Now don't eat too much and make sure you all get some sleep before the train ride tomorrow."

I watch as they each stand a little taller at my praise before they all tuck into the sweets. A few house members grab a handful before either going to pack or going to sleep. The rest of the house spread themselves around the room in their little groups. It was nice to see this side of them, to see them relaxed without having to worry too much about social standards.

"What are your plans for the summer?" Draco asked as he continued to separate the skittles. For some reason, he only ate the green ones and refused to even try the others. I was also surprised that I no longer had to try and get him to try muggle sweets.

"I'm going to Italy with my mum and her new husband" Blaise speaks up from around a chocolate frog. I cringe when the leg wriggles. I still couldn't understand why you would want to eat something while it still moves.

"I'm staying home" I sigh thinking of the summer I was going to have to spend with the Dursleys, although magic should make things more entertaining.

"Well father is taking me to meet a few quidditch teams" I roll my eyes at Draco's stuck-up tone before giving him a look. He gets the message and looks at the floor slightly ashamed before turning to Blaise. "Do you think you could use the Floo and join us?"

I was working on improving his behaviour. Draco was still a git sometimes, just wasn't a pompous one. Blaise looks at him in shock. "I'll ask mother, but I would be honoured to join you and Lord Malfoy" I smile at Blaise, I knew that he added the formalities to make Draco feel less awkward about asking.

Draco simply nods and goes back to eating his skittles. I take the other colours from him before ruffling his hair. I do the same to Blaise before going towards the stairs "Night boys, see you in the morning"

I hear them both say night as I walk up the stairs. Accius had been sent back to my room alone with his cage and Astara was already on my bed when I walk in. I shake my head at the snake before opening my trunk. I leave it open on the ottoman in my closet before I start placing a few outfits inside as well as the Circlet I had received on my first day here. The moment I place it into my trunk they all appear in the wardrobe so I don't have to go that later. I also pack my uniform since I will still be able to wear it next year.

When I'm done I change out of my clothes and get into the bath that Bipsy ran for me. I simply relax in the hot water eating skittles. I smile feeling content at the moment. Until I realise that I have to deal with Lockhart next year. I groan loudly before getting out of the water. I quickly use a drying charm and change into a black nightdress. I chuckle as I gently push Astara to the side. With that, I fall asleep ready to say goodbye to Hogwarts in the morning. --I wake up to a beam of sunlight on my face. Squinting from the blinding light I turn away from it only to fall out of bed. Groaning when my back hits the floor hard I wipe the sleep from my eyes before laughing at myself.

When I finally get off the floor I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth before getting changed into a pair of black tights, a black mini skirt, and a white blouse. I pull on a white knit vest over the top before clipping my navy blue travel cloak on. I check the time and rush to slip on my navy ankle boots. I pull my hair into my usual braided up-do.

Once I'm done I grab Accius and his cage and take them into the trunk. I knew he didn't like the train last time so I was going to keep him inside my apartment until later. The moment I step inside Accius flies to his perch and instantly falls asleep. I roll my eyes at the lazy owl and place his cage on the coffee table.

Leaving the apartment I close my trunk and shrink it down and place it into my pocket. I strap both of my wands and holsters into place and turn the invisible. ~Come on my hatchling. Time to go~

Astara looks up at me and excitedly slithers towards me. ~Are we getting food?~ I giggle at her as she climbs up my outstretched arm. ~You always want food~

~Food is very important~

Shaking my head at her I carry her down to the common room where Draco and Blaise are waiting for me. "Good morning boys. You ready to go?"

Instead of answering me they both yawn and rub their eyes sleepily. I hold myself from cooing at their adorableness before we all go to breakfast. The boys were too tired to say anything as they fought not to nap on their plates. They must have eaten too much sugar to actually fall asleep.

After a quiet breakfast, we all go outside, we are met with carriages. Draco, Blaise, Neville, and I get into one while the twins, Susan and Mandy get into the one behind us. I walk up the Thestral that was pulling them and pet its nose before Draco helps me into the carriage.

The train ride back to the station was quiet, only being interrupted by the boys snoring and Astara hissing every now and then while she looked out the window at the view speeding by.

I smile at the small family I have built here. I just really hope I can keep this all together.
