Sai continued to take care of illumi being so gentle to him...

Of course sai took responsibility of bathing illumi too! .

He was even considerate enough to manually wash his body so that his wounds wont get wet

Of course what he saw and what he touches same with what he really felt was left unsaid...

It seemed illumi was fascinated by such gentleness ...it was different from his mothers wicked gentleness ....

Sai knews that illumi could heal pretty much within days and that he could already move

So after three days he announced that he would be leaving

Illumi looked at sai with those black eyes devoid of emotions as he raised both his arms..

"I still havent healed..." Illumi spoke

Sai blinked twice his face was still without emotions..

Seeing that sai was quiet illumi stood up proving his point and ripped his upper cloth off  showcasing them to sai.. there was bandage wrapped around and blood that was still freshly seen..

It seemed his wound reopen from the sudden movement..

Sai of course knew illumi hasnt healed but he knew illumi should be fine now right?...

Why was illumu acting like this?
Sai wondered as he approached illumi..

When they were both only a meter apart sai stretched out his hands and raised his head at him

Sai was fammiliar with emotions... He knew illumi felt something for him but his eyes were just too black to see right through..

So he decided to test him..

Right now his lips and hands were both visible to illumi each one is an invitation...

If he decided to kiss him its undoubtedly a lovers affection if that was the case sai would retreat and never see illumi again

If illumi hug him then it was a brotherly type of affection which generated because of his previous acts of gentleness.

So which one would it be?

Sai pondered..

Illumi moved ....
But it was different from what sai thought

Illumi knelt down he dint embrace sai but instead leaned his head and reseted on sai's shoulder..

Sai couldnt figure it out...
Does this count as a hug? But illumi dint move his hand..

And instead of brotherly affection it looked like a docile child seeking warmth...

Then there was also this emotion....

Sai was dumbfounded when he remembered What killua said before..
“Gon.. you are light. Sometimes, you shine so brightly, I must look away. But even so, is it still okay if I stay by your side?”...

Right now everything fits into description..

He mightve become illumi's light and now illumi is doing his best to stay by his side..

Suddenly sai felt bitternes...if this is really what its like then its something deeper than lover or brothers affection...

Because now he had become a big part of illumi's world ...

Sai was a little lost...

He had already hurt two main characters of the story one was kurapika while the other was killua...
