(Y/N) leaves her hiding spot and goes over to where Mama is.
"Hello, (Y/N)! How are you doing?" She asks.
"I'm alright... You?" The younger girl responds.
"I'm doing just fine! How's it going with trying to make some friends?" The mother of the house picks us one of the younger kids at her feet.
"I'm trying..." (Y/N) whispers. "It's a little hard..."
"Well why don't I try to introduce you to some kids?" She smiles. "I'm sure I could arrange for Don or Emma to play with you."
"...It's okay. I think I should do this on my own..."
"Alright! Just let me know if I could help you with anything."
...
After lunch, (Y/N) helps the other three 11-year-olds clean up the dining room. She hears Ray ask Norman, "Isn't it too reckless, though?"
"You'd think so, right? That's why we're doing it. Or else there's no point." Norman responds to Ray.
'Norman that actually makes no sense.' (Y/N) thinks. 'What is going on in that head of yours?'
...
After the four clean the dining hall, (Y/N) silently follows the three schemers up the stairs, listening to what they were saying.
"If we have more teams, our mobility to run away will go up." Norman's voice starts the conversation. "So first, we have to win over Don and Gilda. Even if they are Mom's source of information, we'll deal with that later."
"So? How are we going to talk to them?" Ray asks the albino. "Even if it's the truth, we need to word it right. Otherwise, they'll reject the idea, blow us off, and it'll be over. Don't think that everyone'll believe you as easily as I did."
They stop climbing the stairs, and (Y/N) stands a flight below them.
"I talked about that with Emma but..."
"We won't tell them the truth." Emma says.
'Do you realize how many problems that's going to make?' (Y/N) questions them. 'I honestly thought you were smart. Don's going to kill you.'
"What?! You're going to hide it?!" Ray suddenly blurts out.
"I don't want to put them in danger." Emma calmly replies.
"Huh?!"
The three start climbing the stairs again, and so does (Y/N).
"Mom hasn't made a move because we haven't made any signs that we know." Emma starts to explain. "But if someone else reveals it, she might ship them out right away. I have every intention to succeed in escaping, but..."
