(Y/N) finally gets up from the underground caves. She walks up behind Yvette and picks her up, making the younger girl squeal.
"Oh! (Y/N)! Look what we found!" The red-eyed girl points down to a hole created by snapped tree roots.
(Y/N) nods and smiles. "...Nice."
"They don't do well with the cold!!" Alicia exclaims.
"So that's why they stopped moving." Yvette deducts.
(Y/N) sets the black-haired girl down and walks over to Emma. She places a hand on the girl's shoulder. Emma turns around, startled, before calming down at the look of (Y/N).
"I'm alright. I just though I heard something." She reassures (Y/N).
(Y/N) nods and turns around. She listens to the complains and remarks of the kids surrounding them. She watched Gilda and Don walk up to Emma.
"So, as long as it stays this cold, does it mean we won't have to worry about getting attacked by these roots again?" Gilda asks.
"Probably." Emma answers.
"Damn!" Don curses. "It's a good thing that it's winter right now! Or else we would have been in big trouble!"
"Well..." Nat says, coming up to correct Don. "According to this, it seems like the underground doesn't cave in in the first place unless it's winter." He says, beginning to quote something. " It says that 'The Alva Pinera is a legendary cave that one can only enter during the winter season.' in this book."
Don grabs the book out of Nat's hand, reading the pages. His determined look soon turns to a dumbfound look.
"If only it weren't winter, huh?" Gilda asks, placing a hand on Don's shoulder.
(Y/N) silently chuckles at the scene that unraveled before her eyes, glad to be with this group for her escape.
"But I'm glad that this happened, because now I know that this 'Outside World' is full of unknowns and surprises." Emma says happily. "And the words of (Y/N)'s book have meaning!"
(Y/N)'s eyes widen when the orange-haired girl refers to it as her book.
"So it's our guide book, huh..." Don mumbles, looking through the pages of the hard-covered book.
"Exactly. This book contains all of the information regarding the outside world. It has all the important pieces of information we need."
(Y/N) taps on Don's shoulder, wanting the book back. The younger boy looks over at her outreached hand.
"Do you... want the book?" He asks.
She nods.
The boy closes the hard-covered book before handing it over to the girl. "Thanks..." She mumbles.
