I forgot
I was lost in the moment.
Travelling in space
Nothing felt real
Nothing felt surreal
Yet I felt whole again
I felt being whole again
I felt being me again
All was forgotten
The pain
the hurt,
the betrayal.
Yes sadly betrayal doesn't come
From your enemies
Yet from those close to you.
One moment
You are important
The next
You are nothing.
Walking our separate ways
A one way street
No turning back.
Heads held high like no heart bruised.
Tears held in hostage
One slip
It's all it takes for the hurt
To relieve itself.
The person dying inside
Slowing appearing on the surface
To unleash the pain, the anger
A monster awaiting for revenge
I repeat
Pain inflicted from pain
Leaves no man alive
It's then when one realises
The strength that comes with emotions
Emotions that can either create or demolish
Emotions that can make or remake
Yet that one emotion we most fear
"Love"
Take a moment
how would you describe it
Yet love comes with pain
And with pain comes hate
Ever wondered why forgiveness
Is harder than hate
Why peace is harder than rage
Why they choose brutality over harmony
A beer over a cup of coffee , tea maybe
It's the fear of expressing ones true emotion
Yet it never seems to amaze me
How humans have mastered manupulation
How they have become creatures of doom
Creatures that shows no mercy
like vultures awaiting to attack
Feeding on ones emotions to help
save theirs
To feed their own thirst of desires
and selfishness.
To suck on the only thing that gives life to
mortality. The heart.
Leaving it to bleed to death
Without realising the damage being done
Tournishing the soul
Leaving an empty space
That's impossible to fill
With no sign of remorse nor guilt.
Oh humankind.
