"triplets?" me and blake ask at the same time

"yeah theyre really nice people i talked to them for awhile." Athena says making me look at naf for an explanation.

"oh they went up to athena and had a conversation with her dont worry their really nice people." naf explains

"them?" i ask

"yeah aiden,adan and annalise their names are very pretty." athena says with a smile

boys? friends with athena? i look over to naf from my rear view mirror and give her a 'we will talk about this later' look she widens her eyes and nods

"thats great princess i bet their really nice huh?" she nods her head quickly smiling widely

before Athena could say anything her phone started ringing indicating an imcoming call naf looks at athenas phone and smirks accepting the call athena looks over at naf in confusion.

"dont worry its annalise's number." athena smiles at naf
"hey yall oh my god athena your makeup looks stunning." i hear a very familiar voice say making me turn my head to blakes direction

blake looks at me with a surprised face. i slam on the breaks making athena and naf jolt forward i get out of the car slamming the door behind me. blake took the hint and stepped outside.

"you recognized her voice too right?" i ask blake

"of course but i dont understand why your mad." blake says

"the triplets are friends with MY mate its too early for her to meet them blake." i stated

"shes going to meet your mom today whats so bad about meeting with your siblings as well."

"theyre a handful and since they already know her it means that they know that ive found my mate blake." i say sighing

naf steps out of the car and walks next to her father

"as a matter of fact they dont know that shes your mate. i called them after my dad told me about athena i was surprised to know that shes your mate my dad just told me about her and when i saw her walking out of the hospital rroom i decided to talk to her and call the triplets over." naf says with a bored look on her face.

"how are you so sure that they dont know?" i question

"between you and me theres something different about athena" she says making me stare at her with confusion.

"her aurora her past and her scent. im still human but i am a half blooded vampire i havent fully transitioned yet so i am practically still human but i can tell you right now she does not have the scent of a human. its a unknown scent isnt it? she doesnt have the scent of a hybrid either." naf says

"what you are saying is true but if shes not a human than what is she?" she looks at me knowingly

"no" blake says making me and naf turn our heads at his direction

"what do you mean no?"

"i have done every test i can she is indeed a human but shes not a normal human." blake pauses for a moment

"her dna is a mix of her moms and dads but theres something else-" he was cut off by a very loud scream

we all widen our eyes in realization and speed run to the car.

i grab athena and carry her bridal style before running away from the car when i hear a explosion i turn around to see the car in flames.
