the last time ive gone outside was a couple days ago and it was to get stuff for Athena. i step outside feeling the heat of the sun on my skin made me smile. something about the heat of the sun just instantly gives me comfort.

i make my way to my car turning the ac on so when my princess comes in here it wont be hot. i scroll through some of my emails replying to some of them. when the scent of strawberries and chocolate hit my nose i know shes near by.

i look up from my phone inhaling the scent even more. i could never get enough of her scent its so amazing.no words can describe how amazing her scent is.

what i saw just a couple of feet away from me shocked me so much i got goosebumps. my princess wasnt dressed in a pair of legging and my hoodie anymore.

she was wearing a black short tighted dress just under her bum snd black boot heels. her hair was straightened which made her hair even more longer than it already was making her hair flow behind her back.

my jaw dropped i notice men and women openley looking at her curves making my blood boil. but before i could do anything about it she starts walking up to my car herheels clacking against the concrete. she let her hand flow through her hair and i swear at that moment my heart started beating faster.

i look over at naf to see a smirk placed on her face.she knew what Athena was wearing was slowly killing me. and i will make sure to have a word with her later.

"you look absolutely breathtaking princess. too breathtaking if anything" i whisper the last part to myself she laughs making me widen my eyes even more.

"naf gave me this dress and told me to wear it since apparently where we are going is pretty formal?" she says

i nod my head "but you didnt have to wear a dress if anything jeans or legging over a hoodie was going to be just fine." i tell her and take my jacket off and place it on her shoulders she smiles at me in appreciation.

i could tell she wasnt really comfortable with showing so much skin which is fine

i place my arm at the small of her back and lead her to the back seat since she wanted to sit by naf.she puts her hand out making me look at her with confusion. then realization hits she wants her phone back. i grab her new phone out since the last one shattered and she looked at me with big eyes.

"i wanted your hand." that shocks me

she grabs a hold of my hand and intertwined our fingers together."i dont know why i feel safe with you its unexplainable i feel like i can be myself around you and that i dont have to be scared and that youll protect me but theres this tiny voice in the back of my head screaming at me that youll leave me just like everyone else has and i dont think ill be able to handle anymore people leaving my life. i overheard you and Dr blake talking and i know that i wont be able to make it if i get surgery theres just too much risk." she says looking at me with tears welling up in her eyes

"please dont hurt him dont hurt Dr blake hes naf's father and naf means alot to me and i dont want her to blame you or me if her dad got hurt. and Dr blake had good inetntions so i forgive him."

i grab her and hold her tight hugging her while tears stream down her face "please dont hurt him please." she repeats "i wont princess if thats what you want" we stay like that for a couple minutes before she pulls away and stares at her hands she starts fiddling with her fingers.

i grab the new phone from my pocket and give it to her. she looks up at me and shakes her head "no thats the newest iphone i can just buy one later with my savings." she says

"princess just take it i wont take no for an answer." she still shakes her head "please" i plead she sighs and nods her head "ill pay you later." i say nothing to that

i look over to naf who was beside her she looked sad cause of what athena said she heard everything.

when athena turned to her with a smile and showed her something on her phone naf smiled widely for her.i can already tell that naf sees athena as a little sister. although Athena is turning 18 in a week. naf is already 18

i walk up to the drivers seat and start the engine i push on the gas pedal and look at blake who whispered "shes already acting like a true queen Leo shes going to be a amazing leader one day and ill do whatever i can to to find a antidote for her i promise shes gonna make it." he whispers proudly

"you better thank her"i say and he nods

me and blake have been friends since we were in diapers we are very close he found his mate 19 years ago but she unfortunately wasnt faithful or loyal to put it to understanding she was a bitch. she slept around with anyone and blake had to go through the pain of his mate cheating but a year after meeting she told him they were expecting a baby and that it was his and she was right naf is his biological daughter

but blakes mate died while giving birth although his mate treated him like shit he still loved her. i never undertsood why or how he could still love her till i met Athena the mate bond is just too strong especially since hes a superior vampire.

i had asked him to be my right hand when we turned 16 years old which was almost a milenia ago. he refused saying he wanted to percew a different path but at the time Doctors didnt exist it was just witches who were hired to heal people. but as the decades passed by the world started improving and now doctors are a thing.

i was broken out from my thoughts when i heard naf speaking to athena

"oh yeah i got the triplets number they wanna face time." naf says

i look at my princess from the rear view mirror her eyes light up at the mention of the triplets. what triplets?
