I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside. I open my eyes and sit up rubbing the sleep off of my eyes.

I feel a pair of eyes on me I look to the side and gasp. I pull the blanket over my head hiding my face not wanting him to see me blush.

I hear a chuckle and next think I know he gets inside my blanket and looks at me laughing out loud when he sees my cheeks. I scoff but then think.

How the hell can he see me. As if reading my mind he says " the blanket is white and the windows are open" I make a 'O' shape with my mouth in realization

I quickly pull the blanket off of my head and look down at Leo to see him smiling. He probably saw the look of confusion on my face cause he pointed to my hair.

I look at the mirror beside me seeing my hair. I place my hand over my mouth to contain the giggles coming out of my mouth. I turn my head to Leo.

"do you have a brush?" I say with a embarrassment look. He nods before pulling a drawer open and pulling out a brush.

He handed the brush to me "thank you" always gotta remember my manners no matter what.

Then it hits me.

My uncle, am I going back to live with him. What if this was all an act and he's lying to me. My breathing begins to get uneven I can feel a panic attack coming.

I look around for my bag my ears start ringing. I the palm of my hands over my ears.

"It hurts it hurts it hurts please make it stop" I plead

Leo is right beside me in a flash holding my hand and hugging me. "Deep breaths, take deep breaths for me darling." He says in the softest tone he could master.

I try my best but it's like I can't. Tears start brewing in and I start crying. I cant please I cant do this anymore.

" hey hey hey, look at me just take deep breaths with me" he grabs hold of both of hands strolling my palm "exhale and inhale you got this princess."

I copy his actions he kisses my cheek and that one action instantly calms me down. I shove my head into the crook of his neck. Taking deep breaths.

He puts his arms around my waist and positions me so that I'm in a comfortable position. I wrap my arms around his neck.

"Princess can you please tell me why you had a panic attack ? Please princess maybe I can help." I close my eyes breathing in his scent

"Your going to take me back there aren't you" i say tears start streaming down my face and before I know it he grabs ahold of my arms and places me on his lap so that he can see my face.

"Princess I would never think about taking you back there why would you even think about that" he says in a pained voice "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry" I say and put my head back into the crook of his neck

"You have nothing to be sorry for if anything I'm sorry I didn't take you in sooner" he whispers and starts stroking my scalp

I don't want to sleep what if my uncle comes here " sleep princess" I shake my head pushing my head deeper into his neck.

"Please, you need to sleep" I shake my head again. "He won't come here I won't let him" he whispers into my ear.

"Promise" I whisper not having the energy to look up at him. "I promise princess"

For the first time in awhile I slept without any worries on my mind.
