Eda's POV"Your hero name can be Owl Lady."
"Owl Lady. I like it already. It really suits me with my characteristics. That will be my hero name and it's final," I said.
"Great! All we need is an outfit, cape, and a mask to hide your identity and we're good to start our sessions and hero work," my student concluded.
"Fine by me. We're both going to learn from each other so I think it's a win-win for us."
"It is. I'm excited to be your partner in action."
"So am I kid. We will be a perfect duo to kick ass and save people."
"Heck yeah we are! I'm not sure if you heard about a novel called The Good Mage Azura."
"Never heard of that book," I admitted.
"Oh well it's about a main character named Azura who becomes a hero along with her rival and soon-to-be friend, Hecate, as they work their way to defeat a monstrous villain who destroys villages."
"Is that where you got inspirational to be a hero?"
"That and after a fire that burned down my elementary school. There was a girl who used to dislike me and she was trapped in the bathroom. I went in to save her and get her out of the school building before we got ourselves killed," Luz explained.
"Wow Luz. I didn't know you had it in ya. You really are brave."
"Heh yeah. When it comes to saving people, I do get a little bit afraid and hate feeling that way."
"There's nothing wrong with feeling scared. It shows that you care about people's safety and you really want them to be okay. I bet screwing up is your worst nightmare."
"It is and I don't want that to ever happen."
"Good thing I'm here to help you out. When it's fifth period, you'll start learning new magic spells from me. Let me warn you though, they're difficult to cast and even the higher level mages have difficulty trying to use spells that I am about to teach you. Do you think you can handle it?" I asked with a serious face.
I had faith as Luz looked determined and ready to learn.
"I don't think Eda, I know I can handle it," she gave me her best smile.
"I'm looking forward to it Luz."

Amity's POV
I focused on the board and wrote down some notes as Lilith lectured me about the history of magic. I knew most of the history behind magic already and some of it was new information to me. No wonder I'm the top student. When I started my freshman year at Hexside, I was the only one who was able to pass all of my advanced classes with Lilith. I was placed in all advanced again when I was a sophomore and here I am as a junior who has advanced classes. I'm on a streak and I intend to keep it like that no matter what.
The only thing that was bothering me on my mind right now was that short-haired girl who bumped into me in the morning. I was surprised that she wasn't scared of me but rather calm and sympathetic. She even had the nerve to argue with me which no one ever does. I will not tolerate anyone who tries to make me feel weak.
