The camera went off with a flash, capturing the moment forever. Jade bricked rapidly, in an effort to keep the tears from falling down her face, after all, it didn't make sense to be crying at your friends wedding. Except, Jade wished that it had been her wedding, not her friends, and though Jade loved her friend Heather, she couldn't help but be sad at the fact that her best friend was marrying another person, and that Heather would no longer be able to spend as much time with Jade, which made Jade sad. At least, that's what Jade tried to tell herself. You see, Jade had been in a very lengthy stage of denial, and it was only now, as she was sitting at Heather's wedding reception, that Jade finally accepted the truth. She was in love with her best friend. Her best friend that had just been married. So basically Jade was screwed. As soon as Jade accepted the fact that she liked her best friend, her chaotic past feelings surrounding Heather started to make more sense. Jade had had a feeling that she wasn't straight for a while now, but it had taken her much longer to accept that she had feelings for her best friend. And of course she had to figure it out at said friend's wedding. Now everytime Jade looked at the photo from Heather's wedding, or even saw Heather or her husband, she would think of what could have been if she had figured her feelings out sooner, and all the things that Jade could no longer do with Heather.
