* Angelina's pov.*
As Hiro and I walked up the hill, we talked and talked. We searched 'far and wide' for the other supplies, but in vain. The sun was shining brightly and walking was becoming super tiring.
" Ugh! I'm sweating like crazy,"complained Hiro as he began to lift his shirt.
" W-w-what a-are you doing,"I asked with confusion.
" Wiping my sweat. What else,"replied Hiro,"Were you thinking of something else?"
" Well, no. Ummm, we better find the other stuff. We only have one more hour left,"I exclaimed as I looked at my watch.
" Oh yeah! You're right,"said Hiro.
Soon, we found one more thing from the list. It was rosemary. The smell of the herb filled the area. Although it smelt relaxing, once I sniffed it too much, my nose began to burn. Ugh! My poor nose!
"Okay, that's the herb,"I said as I took a stock of the herb.
"You sure are handy! Well, I guess one down, three more to go,"exclaimed Hiro dramatically,"Oh, are you dancing with anyone tonight at the camp fire?"
" No,"I replied as I turned around, "Are you?"
"Well, no, but I was thinking of asking you,"said Hiro with a wink,"So is it a yes or a no?"
"Ummm...sure,"I replied. Ba - dump. My heart was beating faster and faster. What was that feeling?
As we set off again to gather the remaining stuff, the sky began to turn grey. The birds that flew in the sky hid and the air became moist.
"Hiro, I think it's going to rain,"I said with concern.
" But we're almost finished. I'll be fast,"promised Hiro.
" If you say so," I said.
Soon, rain began to pour down before we could find the last item. Then wind began to blow harder as the rain soaked our clothes. However, since I'm an angel, I can will my clothes to stay dry, but that would actually make me seem supernatural, so I decided to let them get wet.
" I told you it was going to rain,"I cried as I took off my jacket and put it on my head.
" Sorry! Well why don't we find some shelter first,"said Hiro.
Soon, a cave came into view. My first instinct was to go inside. We quickly ran into the cave as the thunderstorm became worse.
"I'm beat! I'm so tired,"I said as I put the basket of items on the ground.
" Yeah, no kidding,"said Hiro as he shook some water off his hair.
Quickly, I took a cloth from my bag, "Here, use this to wipe your hair,"I said as I took my water bottle out.
"Thanks! Hahaha! That is so like you! But, what about you,"asked Hiro as he took the towel.
" No worries, I have one for myself too! You can never be too prepared,"I replied with a smirk.
"Ha! I see,"laughed Hiro. His smile was so charming and bright! It was as if he was an angel!
"Achoo, "I sneezed in the cold.
" You're going to catch a cold like that,"said Hiro.
" A cold,"I asked. I lived in heaven until now so I won't know what kind of sickness that was. But, never less, it's better safe than sorry.
Then, suddenly, Hiro sat beside me and wrapped a blanket around both of us.
" Thank you Hiro,"I said. I could feel myself blushing. I hope it wasn't visible.
" No problem. Plus, it's warmer this way," said Hiro as he put his head on my shoulder.
Normally, I would feel weird in such a position, but today, I felt comforted and relaxed. Soon, I put my head on his and fell asleep.
* Hiro's pov. *
Time flew by as I feel asleep on Angelina's shoulder. Her scent was sweet and comforting. I haven't slept so well in a long time!
As I opened my eyes, I remembered that we were still in a cold, damp cave. Ugh! It was so cold. When I turned around, I saw Angelina sleeping on my shoulder. Her sleeping face was so cute!
"Oi, Angelina! The rain stopped, we should get going,"I said.
" Huh? Oh, sorry! I didn't mean to sleep on you,"said Angelina apologetically.
" No, it's fine,"I replied as I helped her get up.
