* Third person perspective *
As everyone got into their canoe, they began to sail farther and farther from the shore. The breeze filled the air and everything seemed perfect, just absolutely perfect. Then, suddenly, a huge serpent - like fish arose from the lake.
The serpent was 50 feet long! Its scales glistening in the sun as it rose higher and higher into the sky.
" Kyaaa! It's a sea serpent, "screamed a girl.
"I'm too young to die, "yelled another.
" Here, this is only a fly, but take this as a sacrifice instead, oh great mighty serpent,"yelled Hiro.
"Woah! Nice decorative! It even acts like a serpent, "said Oliva as she quickly took her phone out.
"Ummm, Oliva, I think that serpent is real,"said Angelina as her tried quickly paddle her way to the shore. However, the serpent made sure that not even one canoe was out of its sight.
"Really? Sick! Now I really have to take a picture, "exclaimed Oliva as she took a selfie with the serpent in the background.
As the teachers and instructors saw what was happening, they quickly jumped into kayaks to save the class from the mythical creature.
" Oh my goodness gracious...I can't believe my eyes,"said Ms. International the geography teacher before fainting.
"T-t-try to stay calm everyone,"yelled Mr. Athleticism.
"I'm coming,"said the business teacher, Mr. Bossfly before he fell into the lake without the serpent even touching him
" Wait, for back up to come okay,"shouted one of the camp counselors as he quickly dialed 911.
However, the serpent started lashing out, large waves were created sweeping some of the canoes farther away from the shore. In normal circumstances without a serpent, everyone would've enjoyed the big tide.
" AHHHHHHHHH,"screamed everyone as they held onto their canoes.
Then, suddenly, Angelina's head began to ache again. The pain was indescribable. Slowly, Angelina's eyes closed and she could only see darkness for a few minutes.
When Angelina finally opened her eyes, she was no longer in the canoe with Oliva. She was floating in the sky of heaven. "W-w-what is happening? One second ago I was in a lake with a serpent and now....,"thought Angelina.
When she looked down, 'heaven' was not how it was like before Angelina was banished. Heaven was chaotic, with the old relics fallen into ruins.
"W-w-what happened to here....,"stuttered Angelina with disbelief.
Then, Angelina slowly close yet again and this time, when she opened her eyes, she was back in the canoe. As if it weren't just a coincidence, the serpent slowly swam back down into the depths of the old lake were the forgotten mermaid lived.
"What happened, "asked Angelina as she looked around.
" Oh, nothing too interesting. A few people peed in their pants, some teachers tried to save us, you fell unconscious and then sadly, the serpent left,"said Oliva with overly dramatic gestures and facial expressions.
