Chapter 14: Before the Dance

* Angelina's pov. *

Hiro is a half demon? I-I-I c-c-can't believe it! I fell in love with a demon! I'm just glad in not in heaven right now. If the counsel knew that, well let's just say I wouldn't have my limbs in their proper places.

As I looked down, my heart began to beat faster and faster. Did I mention that I'm afraid of heights? Scared, I gripped onto Hiro tightly as I closed my eyes.

" A-are we there yet,"I asked as I tried not to open my eyes.

" We're almost there. Just wait a little longer. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to suddenly surprise you like that,"apologized Hiro as continued to fly forward.

" It's okay. You're always so kind and funny. I would never hate you for being a demon! ,"I replied quicker than I expected. The words just slipped out of my mouth as if they were waiting to escape.

"Thanks."

  As we sailed across the sky, I saw different landscapes that could never be seen in heaven. I saw beautiful rivers that glistened in the sun, sakura trees that coloured the forest and logs and branches on the ground. The forest was just magnificent.

From above,  the birds that chirped their song could been seen. Some were flying in the sky in flocks, others were siting on the massive willow trees whose branches danced as the wind blew.

"We're here,"said Hiro as he slowly stepped onto the firm ground.

" Thank you. Ummmm, I don't see the camp yet though,"I said with confusion.

" I can't land with wings in the middle of the camp can I,"he replied with a smile,"We just have to walk a little further."

" Okay,"I said as I unwrapped my hands from Hiro's waist.

  After walking just a bit, the camp child be seen. All the girls and guys were crowded around the poor teachers as they waved their hands around while asking millions of questions all at once. When we were seen, they all turned around and dashed over towards us.

" Where were you guys? I was so worried about you,"sobbed a girl.

" I though you were list forever babe,"said a guy.

" We were so scared that you wouldn't come back,"added another.

  " Don't worry were here aren't we,"said Hiro. Immediately,  the crowd calmed down. Then, suddenly,  Oliva pushed through the crowd.

" Make way for Angelina buddy would ya,"said Oliva as she walked towards us while pushing some people who were in her way. When Oliva finally made it past the huge crowd of people, she grabbed my hands and we ran to our cabin before the teachers came storming towards the crowd.

" Girl, you have a lot of explaining to do,"said Oliva as she climbed up the bunk bed.

" Explain what,"I asked with confusion.

" Well, you two got lost right,"asked Oliva with an overly dramatic tone.

" Yes....,"I replied.

" Then you guys must've done something romantic,"said Oliva.

" Oh....well, it started tanning so we found a cave. It was cold so Hiro put a shoulder around us and we kind of fell asleep on each other's shoulder,"I explained.

" I bet something else happened too,"said Oliva with suspicion.

Should I tell Oliva about us flying? But, how would she react to the fact that Hiro was part demon?

" Ummm, well not really, "I replied.

" I thought so. Meh, I guess that's okay......Wait! Are you going to dance with Hiro tonight,"asked Oliva with excitement.

" Well, yes. I promised I would,"I replied.

" Good, there's something interesting, "exclaimed Oliva.

* After Dinner*

After eating a delicious meal of human food, everyone got ready for tonight's dance around the camp fire.

"Angelina,  are you wearing that to Yuri first dance,"asked Oliva.

" Yeah! Is there a problem with it,"I asked as I looked at Oliva's grim face.

" Well, the problem is, you aren't going to a ball dance! Think of it like a date! Here wear this and this and that and this with thus and that and this,"said Oliva as she began to throw some clothes around.

" O-okay,"I replied as took the closes she picked out.

Soon, I changed into a cute blue short skirt with a gold border at the bottom. I was now wearing a mint tank top with a gorgeous white loose, short on top.

" I look so modernized,"I exclaimed.

" Hahaha! You're over exaggerating, "laughed Oliva as we walked out the door.

As I looked around,  I saw a girl with Hiro. She was gorgeous and tall with her long hair braided to the side.

"Ugh! Who is she,"said Oliva as she pushed me forwards towards Hiro.

" Oh, hi Angelina,"said Hiro when he saw us.

 

" I believe you promised a dance with Angelina,"said Oliva as she shooed the other girl away.
