As one of the most popular ships in the Steven Universe fandom, I do believe people will start harassing me for not supporting this specific ship.
There are several reasons to justify why I don't support Lapidot.
In one of the earlier episodes featuring the infamous duo, Lapis was consistently being rude to Peridot. It doesn't seem like a good relationship. Peridot was trying to be nice to Lapis, but Lapis kept being rude to her. This doesn't seem like a good relationship to have, especially if their your crush.
Neither of them have good records back on Homeworld. Well, for the former gem, Peridot, she forced Lapis and Jasper onto her hand ship. I know she needed to complete a mission, but it's unfair to do that, even if it's for your superior.
