Sarah had woken up from the achingly long night, her eyes still heavy, but she needed to be up to go to the gym for her morning workout as well as her shift. Sarah got up, got into her workout gear, and a t-shirt over the floral sports bra that she wore.

She had a quick breakfast and a pre-workout shake, before taking off with her keys, not even realizing that her front door had been completely fixed as if no one had kicked it open the night before. Though we all knew she was ignoring the events from the night before.

The walk wasn't long to the gym, it never was, and she was grateful for it. She walked into the gym, signed in as a member, and went into the locker room to put her bag away, before grabbing out her earbuds and her water bottle before going to a treadmill where she would work her way up to a sprint over the course of 25 minutes she would sprint alone for another 25 minutes before stopping her machine, and took a drink from the bottle, and walking to get a paper towel and cleaning solution, so the machine was ready for another person to use after her.

After cleaning off the machine, Sarah would then walk over to another machine that focused on her arms, She didn't spend as long on the machine as she had on the treadmill, Sarah needed a distraction, her music and working out was that distraction. She did what she could to ignore anyone and anything that tried to get her attention before her work shift. She didn't need nor did she want to be disturbed. She had a rough night and she knew today would only be longer.

After sitting at the arm machine, Sarah couldn't pay much attention to working out anymore, so she took out her earbuds and made her way back to the locker room, and got ready to take a shower before her shift.

Her shower wasn't long, it didn't need to be, she was in and out within about 5 to 10 minutes. She would get dressed and tied her hair back in a ponytail only to cover the front desk like she usually does. She didn't have much to do today since the previous shift had done a lot of the heavier cleaning.

Sarah sat on a stool behind the desk, checking members in and out for the day as they came and left the gym. She knew he was to show up soon, she could tell, she didn't want him around her. All he did now was anger her and it was as if he could care even less about the whole situation. She had so much to think about.

As if on queue, Stephan walked in and up to the check-in station where she was seated. She averted her eyes from him, her head turned away only slightly. He knew she was ignoring him and she wasn't afraid to show it. She looked at him long enough to check him in and to hand back his membership card with a fake smile that he noticed, but no one else would have been able to tell. She's grown to perfect that fake smile even if no one but him could tell. She was not about to make it known to anyone else and they both knew that.

Stephan raised a brow at the fake smile, the tired look drawn all over Sarah's face, a small, disgruntled growl left him before he walked away to go start up for his own workout.

For some reason today, the gym was a bit busier than normal. She wasn't really used to this, but it was also nice, the busyness if the day helped with her need of a distraction that wasn't him.
