it was hard telling people that i was leaving only the close people i told. my brother and sister know, maddie and the friend group. we're throwing a going away party tonight for me and gus. it's happing and maddies house. Me and gus are at maddies getting ready for the party. i put on a black right dress it was plan with nothing on it. it went down to my upper thigh. i put on a pair of black heels to match. kept my makeup to just eyeliner eyelashes and lip gloss.
i walk out of the bathroom to see Gus and maddie passing back a blunt.
"you look gorgeous hayes." gus says. i smirk and kiss him taking a seat down.
"people are probably gonna be here soon." maddie says pointing out the time .8:50. i don't know how to feel this is a going away party for me well more gus i guess he's the one actually doing something with his life. i'm not doing anything,i don't got money,a job, a fucking high school diploma. i don't got shit. Gus got something going for him i'm just going out there to mooch of his shit. well that's what it feels like at least.
Gus pulls me out of my thoughts by waving the blunt in my face.
"what you thinkin about boo?" gus asks.
"oh nothing just staring off." i smile. the sound of car doors closing made maddie jump up with a smile on her face taking a swig of her bottle of vodka reading to party.
music has already been playing through out the house to great whoever has just arrived. maddie tells me and gus to hurry at she leaves the room.
i turn to Gus pulling a small baggie of coke outta my bra. he gives me a small smirk and take it out of my hands and cuts 4 lines on his phone.
"laddies first." he smiles handing me the phone. i take 2 lines leaving the other 2 for him. whipping my nose off and handing him the phone he dose the rest and we stand up.
"well baby les go make it a night to remember." I say giving gus a kiss.
we walk out into the living room to see the usual crew there.
"look what i brought for my favourite girl going away present." xavier says making me roll my eyes at his words but smile at the baggie of molly. i look at gus who looks pissed off so i grab his hand holding it tight.
"as long as you brought enough for everyone." i say taking the bag from him and passing the pills around there was enough with 2 left over. more people start to pile into the house.
An hour into the party the molly kicked in there was people who were dancing some making out and others doing whatever the fuck.
the house was hot so i took a step outside to cool down.
"you got a smoke?" i ask the teenage boy who was passing a bong around with a group a friends.
"yeah." he says passing me one from his pack and a lighter.
"thank you." i say then light the smoke and pass him the lighter back. The cold air felt nice against my warm skin. i take a drag off my cigarette looking around maddies yard. memories of us being kids flooding into my head. it made me think of moving to LA, i've never left long beach new york. this is all i know all i ever known. i feel arms wrap around my waist the body fitting perfect with mine.
"hi gus."
"i didn't know where you went." i turn around to him and smile.
"you know i'm never fair." i say looking him in the eyes and passing the cigarette to him. he takes it and takes a drag.
"i can't believe we are leaving." gus says.
"i know. still trying to picture what the rest of the world looks like." i joke making the boy in front of me laugh.
"i'm getting cold let's go back in." i say and walk inside gus following me. i grab the bottle of vodka i was drinking all night and take a swig of it passing it to gus who dose the same thing. we push are way through the body's of long island teenagers. She Will by lil wayne starts playing through out the house making me pull gus close and start dancing.
our bodies stayed close as we danced to the song. Gus pulls me around and kisses my lips. we pull away a minute later.
"i love you." gus smiles.
"i love you more." i say kissing him one more time before we go to find friends. i see maddie johnson xavier and daniel sitting together. well maddie wasn't sitting she was dancing on a table.
"how much has she had." i ask.
"too much." johnson laughs.
"oh my gooodddd Hayessss get up here come dance with me." she slurs grabbing my arms and pulling me up to her. if you can't beat em join em. i shrug my shoulders and take a big chug of the vodka passing the bottle to gus.
me and maddie screaming lyrics to a kid cudi song. jumping up and down the table barely hold our tiny body's. the molly is really kicking in now. we dance together grinding on each other giving everyone a show. I pull out my phone and start recording us on snapchat. she brings her face into the camera turning her head a kissing me. i just went with the flow and i'm not complaining i get to kiss a pretty girl. the kiss turned into a small make out with the two drunk best friends.
euphoria runs through my body as we continue to dance. i look my eyes on gus his eyes connecting with mine. he smirks at me.
"ima steal your girl Gus you watch out." Maddie slurs making gus laugh.
"as long as y'all do your business in front of me we will be good." he jokes. i roll my eyes and get down off the table grabbing the bottle and taking another mouth full.
i look over in the corner to see some guy giving shitty tattoos and i knew i had to get one.
"oh my god he's doing tattoos i need one." i say to the people i was with walking over to him.
"man i'll give you 2 molly pills right now for a tattoo." i slur.
"fuck yeah sounds like a deal."

i end up with this tattoo and it wasn't to bad for how fucked up i'm sure the guy was. i hand him the pills shake his hand and walk away.
it's around 2am now most people have left beside the odd few. i'm fucked up to the point i don't think i can get anymore fucked up. i'm sitting next to gus on the couch my head on his shoulder with my eyes barely open.
"i think you need some rest." gus whispers in my eye. i shake my head yes to sleepy to speak. he stands up pulling me with him. he takes me to Maddies room so we can lay down.
"here baby let's get you comfy." he seats me down and takes my heels off for me. he turns and goes through my bags for find shorts and a hoodie for me to sleep in and my make up wipes. i try to stand up but stumble over. gus helps me up and takes off my dress for me i put the hoodie on and the shorts.
"lay down." he tells me which i happily do. he starts to take off my make up with the makeup remover until it's all off my face. he comes and lays next to me holding me close and tight. i can't stay awake any longer.
