Chapter 78

Third POV

Dahlia and Orion waited as Regulus was about to receive his memories. Sirius had been anxious for his brother to receive his memories, their relationship had been quite close rather quickly and he didn't want it ruined. Regulus had gained begun to see flashes of his last life, where he heard all the arguments between Walburga and Sirius, how his dad didn't do anything, how depressed he was when Sirius had left and how wish he could've gone with him. He watched Sirius' experience in Azkaban and how betrayed he felt not having a trial, he watched his own death and how he got torn apart by Inferi. He watched the life of Sirius' goddaughter and the hardships she went through and how she had gotten the ultimate betrayal.

Dahlia and Luna going to a different timeline, Luna being with Abraxas Malfoy due to a soulmate bond, and YES! Dahlia was with his dad and became his new mom. He watched all of what has happened until now, including Tom actually being controlled and becoming a whole new person while Tom Riddle Jr. had died, Nagini was actually a human at some point and Tom's mate, all the new children including now having a little sister, how big the family has gotten, Sirius being kidnapped and traumatized, his mom threatening his dad with a rusty butter knife whenever she was about to have a baby, that part he admits that he giggled.

When he woke up, he was met with his parents. His dad brought him up to him, and Regulus was still a bit surprised that Sirius seemed to have gotten his personality from their dad. He hugged his dad, happy to see him and to see him happy, he then turned his attention to his new mom and held out his arms to her making her beam at him and take him into her arms and hugged him, he didn't say anything as he was enjoying his new mother's love.

"Master, Mistress," Lector had appeared, Dahlia and Orion turned their attention to the elf, "Master Sirius has woken up, he had a nightmare and isn't able to calm down," the elf had said.

"Well do you want to see your brother?" Dahlia asked Regulus. The two year old had nodded and the three had walked down to the now open door of Sirius' room as Padfoot looked a bit anxious as his human was clutching his body. "Sirius?" Orion called. The three year old's head snapped up hearing his dad. He had a nightmare that he was back in that basement and he woke up very cold and hearing his elf's voice say he was going to go get his parents. He didn't want to wake them up but with his frazzled and startled mind, he completely forgot his little brother was getting his memories until he saw him on his mom's hip, looking at him with concern showing through his older looking eyes.

Dahlia went over to his bed and sat down Regulus on the bed as she pulled Sirius to her and felt him shaking. "Are you shaking because of the nightmare or are you cold?"

"Both," Sirius hissed and startled Regulus a bit as he heard his response sound whispery 'This must be what parseltongue sounds like to a parselmouth' he thought. Orion who understood what Sirius had said had taken one of the fire-proof blankets (Hades and Persephone provided them with more) and Regulus watched amazed as he shook out the blanket and he saw bits of green flames spark from the blanket before he bundled it up and wrapped it around Sirius who had quickly relaxed. Regulus had felt it too, it was definitely more comfortable. "Reg," came out of Sirius' mouth although it was a bit rough as he hasn't been able to talk for a few months. "Is 'Reg' going to keep being his first word?!" Dahlia complained making her husband bark out a laugh; very similar to Sirius' laugh, as Regulus was amazed he was Sirius' first word this time around and was the first word he actually spoke after his throat recovering. Regulus had launched himself at his brother and they hugged each other tightly until he felt his older brother shiver again and let go so he could wrap up in his blanket again.

The next morning, while Regulus could not contain his excitement to see his baby sister, Sirius was actually planning on surprising his mom. Sirius had gone done the stairs to see the Mikaelson's and Damon were over. Finn was talking to Luna, Elijah sat next to Andromeda talking about random things as Andromeda could not keep her excitement to herself as she got to start Hogwarts next year, Niklaus was holding Pandora while talking to Dahlia, Kol was making funny faces at Jade who was being fed by Charlus, Henrik had been listening to Ruby babble while talking to his dad, and Damon we found out (Or the author forgot to mention it) was sitting with his mate, Victoria, while talking to her father, Abraxas. Rebekah on the other hand was at the Prewett's house.

Sirius had walked over to his mom who was holding Lyra and gained her attention from Niklaus who seemed to be thinking about something. Dahlia leaned down and he whispered (he been practicing saying it so his throat was hurting quite a bit), "I love you, mommy," she beamed. She handed Lyra to her husband who smiled hearing what Sirius had said and picked him up and hugged him, "Thank you, I love you too," she whispered back.

Niklaus watched the situation as he thought about what Dahlia said, how would he track down Katerina Petrova?
