"Here we are again"

The Party

I walked to first period thinking about what happened. "The boys volleyball team huh?" I thought to myself. I was so deep in thought that I didn't even realize I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and hit someone's shoulder.

I looked up to see Tendou's tall figure looking back at me surprised.

"I'm so sorry Tendou, I wasn't paying attention."

"It's fine! Are you okay?"

"Oh- i'm okay, I'll see you in class."

I walked away mentally cursing myself for bumping into him. I had first period with him so i'll see him again soon.

I got to class and sat down. Not long after, Tendou came in. His seat was was in front of mine. As he walked to his seat he shot me a quick glance and tiny smile. I returned his gesture and class went on.

Once again... I got lost in thought. "What of the coach doesn't except me.. I'll have to try another club and i'm not so sure I'll even be interested in anything else. Wait, isn't Tendou on the volleyball team? I completely forgot about that..." your thoughts lingered the whole class.

Time skip~ After school at home

"Hey dad, I applied to be the manager of the boys volleyball team. They'll let me know if I made it next week."

"That's great, but why the boys team? Did you not like the girls?"

"The manager spot was just taken so the office had me apply for the boys team instead. They're getting the coach to except my application as manager."

"Oh okay, we'll I hope you get in!"

"Thanks dad, Oh! and I just wanted to tell you that i'm going out with my friends tomorrow okay? So don't worry if i'm not home."

"Okay Y/n, Just stay safe and if anything happens please call me."

"Of course dad, I promise."

After we finished talking I went to my room. I put down my school bag and phone and pulled out a hoodie and shorts from my dresser. I went to the bathroom and showered.

I finished showering and got dressed. Then i sat on my bed to check my phone. "Tomorrow's that party. It better not be boring." I thought to myself. "What do I even wear?" My mind stayed full of thoughts till I fell asleep.

Time skip~ Tomorrow morning

    I woke up around 10:45 in the morning, and checked my phone. I had received a text from my friend about the party today. "The party starts around seven tonight, and the address is (inset random address 😃)." Well at least the party wasn't that far from me.

    I walked down to the kitchen to find something to eat and say good morning to my dad.

"Good Morning dad,"

"Morning Y/n, aren't you going with your friends today?"

"Yeah, I'll head out around seven and I'll make sure to text you when I get there."

"Thanks, and sometime today before you go could you pick up things from the store? i'll give you the list and some money."

"Sure, i'll go after breakfast."

"Thank you!"

Time skip~ Around 5:30

    "I guess i should start getting ready for that party thing." I walked to my dresser and pulled out (an outfit of your choice), then styled my hair so it would look decent. I put on mascara and eyeliner and sat back down on my bed to wait until it was actually time to leave.

I passed time by staying on my phone until around 6:57, and I put on shoes and started to walk to the address my friend told me.

The party was held only a few blocks down from my house. I arrived around 7:15, and seen that it was already packed with people. "Didn't think it would be so filled this early." I thought to myself as I looked around to try and see if any of my friends had already gotten here. I found a few people I was close with and made my way over to them and started up a conversation.

Everything seemed to be going great. People looked like they were having fun and it wasn't that boring I guess. I looked over from talking with my friends and seen Tendou here.

"Hm... I didn't think he'd be here." I said to myself.

"Huh? Oh... who invited him?..." I heard one of my friends say.

"Why would someone even invite him? As if people would actually talk to him." another person said in the group I was with.

"I don't know, but i'm sure it's not like that. I'm sure he has friends and stuff, I don't see why he wouldn't?" I reply back to them.

"Eh whatever." After that the subject was changed.

But I kept looking at him, and what he was doing. I'm not sure why my attention would go to him so much recently, but it doesn't bother me that much. I kinda wanna know him and why people act the way they do around him. He had friends right? Surely he did, because he's laughing with a few people right now... maybe they were from the volleyball team? My thoughts wondered until he happened to look my way and caught me looking at him. I turned my head trying not to look like a creep but failed. He had already caught me looking... there wasn't any recovery from that tiny moment of embarrassment.

Time Skip~ A few hours later at the party

I was having a lot of fun actually, my friends even convinced me to dance with them a little. The room was crowded and me and my friend stayed swaying a little to the music in the crowd of people dancing on each other and singing. I was laughing with my friend and we danced more together and I backed up into someone on accident, and I wasn't even surprised at who it was... we kept running into each other over and over again it was weird.
