"Here we are again"

Just A Hunch

    It was Monday, and I was on my way to my first period class when I bumped into my new "friend", the red head himself.

"I'll see you at practice new manager." He smiled.

"Yeah yeah, that's IF I get in. Your coach could totally turn me down you know."

"...like I said. I'll see you at practice."

"How are you so sure, hm?"

"Just a hunch." And he left with a huge grin.

    I rolled my eyes and continued on to class. "This guy really has a personality to him." I thought to myself as I arrived to my classroom.

Time Skip~ After class in second period

    Tendou was in my second period, and he sat close to me. I was looking over at him thinking about how he could be so certain about me getting into the team.

    Minuets later, the teacher walked by me and put a note on my desk.

"It's from the front desk." She whispered to me so she wouldn't disrupt the class.

"Oh okay, Thank you." I whispered back.

    I opened the note and it was what I expected. It was about the manager application. I got eager and skimmed through the note till the end and read the words "With careful consideration, you have been accepted to be part of the Official Shiratorizawa, Boys Volleyball team as manager. Congratulations." When i finished reading my eyes widened a bit and with random instinct, I looked up and looked for Tendous face among the class. Once I met his eyes, he smirked and cocked an eye brow. I looked at him with a questioning face and a smile formed on my face. I mouthed the words "How did you know...?" to him. He only shrugged his shoulders and turned his attention back to the teacher at the front of class still keeping a smile.

Time Skip~ After Class

    Class ended and I was rushing to get my things together so I could confront Tendou. I speed walked over to him, which was right outside the classroom door.

"Tendou. You better tell me right now how you knew I would get accepted?"

"I didn't know anything... I swear. Like I said... Just a hunch." He winked at me.

"...Mhmmm.."

"I guess I'll see you at practice later today huh?"

"I guess.."

"Don't get tired of me too fast, you'll have to deal with me all the time now." He laughed.

"Whatever, I'm still not letting this down mister."

    He shot me another smirk and walked away. "What is with this guy?" I thought.

Time Skip~ After School

    I walked out of my last class of the day and started to walk out the school. "Wait I have to go to the gym today right?.." I muttered to myself. I felt an arm good around my shoulders and flinched a little. I swung my head to the side.

"Tendou?! Oh my fucking god- you can't just randomly do that to people!!!" I scolded him.

"Sorry sorry!! But don't mind it, we gotta get to the gym for practice!"

    He walked with me to the gym. I got a tiny bit nervous because I wasn't one for sudden changes. I'd be now spending a lot of time with people I barley knew now. We got to the gym doors and it looked like only the coach and two other people were there. It was a blue haired boy, and Ushijima. I knew Ushijima because of his volleyball reputation. He was pretty popular, yet he wasn't close with many so ofc I didn't know him personally.

"Tendou? Who's that??"

    The blue haired boy asked. That caught the attention of Ushijima and the coach.

"This is my new best friend duh Goshiki" He teased the boy.

    "So Goshiki is his name." I noted to myself.

"She's the new manager of the team. Say your hellos then get ready for practice." Coach said.

    They boys went to their locker rooms to change and the rest of the players trickled in over the next few minutes.

    When they finished they stood in a line, in front of the coach.

"I'm coach Washijō, and it's good to finally have a manager on this team, so please do your best for these guys."

"Of course sir." I said back to him.

"Boys introduce yourselves." Coach called to them.

    They said their names in the order the line was.

"Wakatoshi Ushijima."

"Jin Soekawa"

"Eita Semi"

"Reon Ōhira"

"Satori Tendou." Obviously with his signature wink.

"Yūshō Sagae"

"Yunohama"

"Tsutomu Goshiki"

"Yu Shibata"

"Kenjirō Shirabu"

"Taichi Kawanishi"

"Kai Akakura"

"Hayato Yamagata"

    They all said their names with a polite tone.

"I'm Y/n, I hope i'll live up to your expectations." I said with a tiny smile.

"Okay! Get to practice now!"

    And with Coaches last word they scattered to different areas to begin practice.

"You'll need to fill their bottles and prepare towels for them for now." Coach told me.

"Yes sir." I looked around for a second for the storage room so I could find the towels and bottles.

    I found the room and got the towels. I picked up the pile and sat them at the bench along the wall of the gym. I went back in and got the container of water bottles and found a water fountain to fill them with.

    It was five minutes later and I had finally finished filling them. As I picked up the box that carried them all I walked back to the bench and set them down.

    I looked up and the boys were still practicing in different areas. I scanned the gym almost as if my eyes were in search for something... or maybe someone. My gaze locked onto Tendou and stayed there. He was participating in a 3v3 small match with his other teammates.

    I've never seen any of the team play and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't impressed. What could I expect though. They were one of the best teams in the prefecture.
